Saturday brings back a sense of
normality.
But then I realize,
Aoi has guests.
"Orsai's upstairs with her cousins."
She waves me off when I ask.
So I make my way up,
my insides bundling
into messy nerves
because what if
Orsai's cousins
are just like
her?
I hear them in the bathroom,
so I try to walk in but
suddenly the door is being
s l a m m e d
in my face.
"Was that her?"
A foreign voice asks.
"Yeah, just ignore her.
She's no one."
