Arguments
-
It always happens between the both of you, as you were the manager of the Nekoma volleyball club and him being the captain.
You always argued with him over who should be in the main six team, and he always retort and said that you were wrong.
The quarrels always ended up you leaving the team for a few days. If not for Kenma and Yaku, you had already quit long ago.
See, you had the abilities of being a capable manager, that's what everyone says and sees, except for Kuroo.
You were his childhood friend, his partner in quarreling and fights against each other. He might not admit it, but his life will be boring without you.
You were his sunshine.
One day, the fight ended, forever...
"I said that Lev should be in the team! Although he's just a noob, I can see that he's going to be an ace!" You fired.
"He'll just bring all of us down when he only has such little experience and a naive brain!" He protested.
"Guys, don't quarrel over trivial things like that," Kenma walked between the both of you but got pulled away by Yaku.
"Do you want to die? Don't go over there!" Yaku whisper yelled.
"If you think I'm wrong then maybe you should just let me quit!" You yelled at him, anger boiling inside of you.
"No one's stopping you! If you want to quit, then get out of here!" Kuroo shouted, his voice hoarse and raspy, his eyes having a murderous glare.
"Fine! I'll leave!" You growled and everyone gasped.
Grabbing your things, you walked briskly out of the gym and everyone was frozen in their spots, excluding Kuroo. He walked towards the court and ordered everyone to continue training.
"Are you sure she'll be alright?" Kenma nudged Kuroo, a worried expression printed on his face. The rest of the team seemed to be asking the same question, as they have such a strong bond with you after these trainings.
"I suppose, it'll always end up me apologizing anyways," he shrugged it off and continued training.
An uneasy feeling was boiling inside of him, but he didn't want to do anything about it. His priority was to train for the upcoming matches, nothing else.
Suddenly, ambulance sirens was heard wailing outside their school. Feeling curious, everyone looked at Kuroo, as if asking for permission to head out to see the commotion.
"Let's check it out," he said and dashed out of the gym, the uneasy feeling growing stronger and stronger as he approached the streets.
Everyone was beyond shock to mutter a word, seeing your lifeless body on the road.
"(Y/N)..." Some of the team players muttered and gasped. Tears dripped onto Kuroo's shirt and on to the ground without him knowing.
Slowly, he fell to his knees and his body shook vigorously. "Captain! Are you alright?" A first year asked.
He was frozen, he couldn't seem to move. He soon comprehended the situation and began to approach your petite body.
"Wake up, (Y/N), this isn't funny. I'll take back my words, please," he sobbed while holding your hand.
"Sir, we will have to take her to the hospital right now," one of the paramedic said.
Kuroo immediately made way and ran back to the gym and took his stuff before sprinting towards the hospital.
Everyone took the bus later and arrived at the hospital after Kuroo.

After waiting outside the surgery room, most of the team was already sleeping on the benches. Only Kenma and Kuroo were awake, waiting for a miracle to happen.
"She'll be fine, don't worry," Kenma patted Kuroo's back to comfort him. Kenma was actually feeling sad, till he wanted to curl into a ball and cry his eyes out, but he couldn't.
He couldn't let Kuroo's pillar of strength collapse.
"She'll come to, I believe," Kuroo smiled while wiping his tears away. "If only I didn't say those things to her, if only I made her stay," he added, trying his hardest not to cry.
The surgery doors finally opened after what seemed like eternity, the players waking up after hearing the sound.
"Is she okay!?"
"How is she?"
"Can we go in and see her?"
Questions filled the corridor and Kuroo signaled them to quiet down.
"I'm sorry but we did our best, her skull has been severely damaged and she lost too much blood. My deepest condolences," the surgeon said then bowed before taking his leave.
Kuroo fell to his knees and the rest sobbed sorrowfully. How could a lively girl pass away so suddenly...

Bringing flowers to your new grave with a newly carved angel sitting on top of it, your friends and family came forward to put white roses in front of it.
"(Y/N)... It's been a month since your departure to heaven, I'll always remember you and come and see you. As you may not know this but, I've loved you since we were 6, you meant the world to me and now, my life seems empty without you. I hope you will stay by my side as always, I love you with all my heart," Kuroo whispered after everyone left.
"I love you too, Kuroo..." A soft whisper was heard.

Aw shit... I teared up. :((
