Dare

-

The classroom was filled with chatters and laughter by the students, and you were reading your favorite manga when Asahi caught your attention.

"Asahi-san, I'd appreciate it if you could stop shaking the table every now and then," you mumbled coldly, and he smiled apologetically, before sitting up straight.

"Sorry, (Y/N)-san, I just couldn't help but feel nervous about the test later," he chuckled nervously, and you set your book down, earning his attention.

"Let's make a deal, Asahi-san. If you can score a B for the test later, I'll treat you to your favorite ramen. However, if you fail to do so, you'll receive a dare from me, deal?" You finished, and he stiffened up.

"I don't want to do it but, I guess you're doing it for my good. Deal," he agreed and you smiled, wishing him luck before the invigilator comes in.

-

Every now and then you could see him biting the top of his pencil and tapping his head with it, thinking about how to solve the problems.

You doubt that he could do it due to his nerves getting to him, but you didn't want him to score below a B, as this test is important for the grades.

He flinched when the invigilator announced that the time is up. He obviously didn't finish the test and you could he disappointment flashing in his chocolate orbs.

"Don't mind," you mumbled to him and he looked away, nodding slightly, a faint blush on his cheeks.

-

The day of collecting the test paper approached, and your ace table mate couldn't stop shaking and fidgeting.

"Say, (Y/N)-san, what's the dare?" He asked quietly, completely losing confidence in himself.

"You'd know later," you answered simply, leaving him feeling more nervous and curious.

"Asahi Azumane," the sensei called, and he rubbed his neck nervously before collecting his paper from the sensei.

You didn't try to ask Asahi about his test score, he'd tell you if he wanted to, so you didn't find any point to ask.

"Aren't you going to ask me what's my score?" He asked, confused.

"You'd tell me if you wanted to," you flipped through your paper, only finding a few mistakes here and there.

"I got a C, so I guess you should tell me what's my dare," he sighed deeply, feeling unsatisfactory in his heart.

"Meet me at the library tomorrow morning," you mumbled when the sensei started teaching. He simply nodded and paid attention to the lesson.

-

You spent the whole night thinking about the dare. You had a small crush on the tall but timid ace but you just couldn't confess.

You could only get opportunities and get closer to him, and every time you succeeded, you couldn't help but squeal mentally.

As the sun rose from the horizon, you took your own sweet time and got ready for school, trying to look your best for him.

You casually tied your hair into a braided bun, and it looked messily perfect. Your fluffy strands of (hair color) baby hair fell over your mesmerizing (eye color) eyes and looked cute as marshmallows.

You smiled slightly at your appearance, and walked towards to school with a cheery aura.

Walking pass students, you couldn't help but feel stares upon you, and that made you had chills running down your spine.

Pushing the glass doors of the library, you went to your regular table with a few books, and it wasn't so long before Asahi came.

"Good morning," you smiled, not looking up from your book.

"G-good morning, (Y/N)-san. You look beautiful today," he complimented, taking a seat and looked down with a smile.

"So, I'm not beautiful usually?" You joked, making him wave his hands in front of him and protested, "N-no! That's not what I mean."

You chuckled lightly, making him widen his eyes in confusion. "Oh," he giggled.

"The dare is," you started, and he listened attentively. "You have to tie your hair in braids for a week," you finished with a smirk.

"W-what!?" He complained, sweat drops forming on his forehead. "I'll look super awful," he cried out.

"You won't, you look perfect to me," you complimented him back, a small blush on your cheeks.

"Thank you, you look perfect to me too," he blushed like mad, and he was holding back a wide smile.

-

"They're laughing at me," Asahi cried out softly when clutching your hand. You sent a death glare at those who were snickering and they immediately shut up and looked away.

"They aren't now," you said and held his hand the whole journey.

"Can I back out from this dare?" He begged.

"Nope, a dare is a dare," you smirked.

I don't know how to continue 😣
