your team won the game and as the team's vice captain, you were in the spotlight along with the captain.

unknown to you, the seijoh volleyball boys were watching the game and one particular spiker is actually secretly observing you.

at first sight, you looked ordinary, but when you started playing, no one could take their eyes off you.

the game ended with 25-13 and 25-16, and oikawa tooru, was surprised.

"wow, she's so talented as a setter," he breathed out. iwaizumi nodded and his eyes sparkled, not knowing that he had been holding his breath until he coughed.

when the game ended and the karasuno girls left, the spiker asked one of his female classmates about you.

"akiko-san," he tapped her shoulder, making her look up at him. "yes, iwaizumi?"

the muscle boy was feeling awkward and he was nervous. he felt like as if he was gonna confess to a girl that he like.

"uh, do you know the girls from karasuno? i-i'm not trying to stalk them, just curious because they look familiar," iwaizumi made up a lame excuse which earned a raised brow from akiko.

"i only know the setter's name though, since she attended the same elementary school as me," she answered and tapped her chin.

the spiker waited for his classmate to finish her sentence with anticipation while feeling a little impatient.

"her name's (l/n) (y/n)."

ever since that evening, iwaizumi hasn't been able to forget your name. his mind was occupied by you all the time.

the way you stood on the court with charisma, the way you served a ball and cheered when you scored and your eyes, the amount of determination, attracted the muscular spiker so much.
