You are just a girl that everyone doesn't remember. In school, you were transparent in everyone's eyes. No one knows your name, and you are only known as the 'prodigy of volleyball'.

Those that seen you play in the practice match 3 days ago were mesmerised by your play style. They were drawn in by you. However, as much as they want to see you around school, they couldn't have the chance to, because you were practically invisible.

The news were soon spread to the third years of the male volleyball team. They seemed interested in you, especially the setter, Akaashi Keiji.

Like him, you are also a setter, probably even a better one that him. Your serves that will go to anywhere you pinpointed, your digs that is so stable and reliable. Not to mention your sets, they are so precise that spikers can trust you and jump.

Waving bye to your teammates who thought you had left, you overheard that recently there had been weird and creepy noises coming from the gym. No one goes there anymore expect you, they were afraid of that place upon hearing those false rumours.

You didn't quite believe it, after all you had been self practicing there for the past few days and didn't see or hear anything unusual.

That night, you set up the net quietly and pushed the basket of balls beside you, setting the balls to your targets. The bottles on the floor were all knocked over once after your attempt.

Without wasting any time, you practiced again.

On the other hand, Akaashi and Bokuto were on their way towards the 'haunted gym'.

"Akaashi! The ball you set to me during practice just now was too slow!" Bokuto grumbled, but Akaashi just kept his cool and sped up his pace, leaving the owl behind.

"Ahh, I really wanna do the quick like the Karasuno duo! Let's do it!" Bokuto cheered and caught up with Akaashi, swinging his arm over his shoulder.

As they reached the door, Akaashi stopped and Bokuto bumped into him. "Akaashi!" He whined.

"I wonder if there's someone inside," the pretty setter muttered.

He slowly slid the door open, only to see you with your beautiful wavy hair in a ponytail doing a quick back set.

Your eyes darted towards the door, staring at the setter and spiker in surprise. You didn't react, only continued setting and hitting your targets.

"May we practice with you? If you don't mind," Akaashi asked with polite. You glanced at him briefly before nodding, letting them join you while Bokuto bothered you and Akaashi for a couple of tosses.

That night, you were filled with nice and enjoyable company practicing with you, before you had to go before midnight.

"It's late, I got to go," you said as you picked the balls up and putting them back into the basket.

"We'll take down the net!" Bokuto volunteered himself and you thanked him with a bow. You were about to step out of the door when the setter called you.

"Wait! It's late and I wouldn't want you to walk home alone at this timing. It's dangerous." You rejected his offer, feeling bad if you were to trouble him. However, he insisted and eventually you gave in.

You watched as he swung his bag over his shoulder and waved his friend goodbye before walking over to you. "Let's go?" His soothing voice snapped you back to reality.

Both of you walked down the dark and quiet streets, the silence was suffocating for you.

Stopping at your house, your eyes met his and you looked down. "You're an amazing setter, let's practice together again sometime," he said before leaving, a small smile hanging by his lips.

"I think I'm falling for you," you whispered without even knowing. He heard it with his sharp ears and his cheeks went red.

  "Really?"

  "Huh? What?" You blinked.

"You said you're falling for me," he repeated and you heart raced instantly. You stuttered, not one word was coherent.

"Well, I'm slowly falling for you too, (Y/N)-san. See you tomorrow," he gave you a small smile and walked off.

You stood frozen on the spot, your mind was blank. When he was out of your sight, you mumbled, "What the hell, Akaashi Keiji. What did you just do to my heart?"
