[Author's point of view]

You entered at the classroom Kageyama used to be in, and memories of him came flooding into your mind. A teardrop rolled down your cheek as you placed your hand over his desk, tracing the little scribbles and doodles on it as your fingers ran along it.

It had been almost a month without that raven haired boy, the boy you loved and cherished with all your heart. You sat at his desk, resting your head on it and let your eyes close.

Kageyama fell into a coma three weeks ago when he hit his head against the pole while playing a volleyball match against a powerhouse school. Since then, he was hospitalised and never seemed to wake up.

The volleyball team was devastated, but couldn't do anything except visiting him after school and practice. His parents were always at the hospital, and when you visited him, you would often see his parents weeping quietly beside the bed.

Ever since that accident, you stayed back in school after everyone left and sat at his desk, trying to keep all the memories in your mind before it faded in time.

You used to be cheerful, with a smile or laugh, everything around you seemed to lit up. But it only maintained when Kageyama's around, after he's gone, everything seemed to change.

The world you're seeing seemed to be different. Everything was dull, nothing seemed to excite you or impact you at all. All you wanted and needed was him, and you fell to the depths of despair when he wasn't around.

Your friends would occasionally talk to you and console you, telling you that he won't be gone permanently as he's only in a coma, not dead. Those words didn't really make things any better, but still, you thanked them for making an effort to attempt to cheer you up.

[Third person's point of view]

She fell asleep, her fringe covering her tear stained face from the light. From afar, she looked peaceful, like an infant sleeping soundly.

She's having a dream, a dream about Kageyama. Everything they did in the past, from their first meeting to their last minute spent together, played in her mind like a film.

Without herself knowing it, she was smiling in her sleep, as if living in a fantasy in her mind. She wished that the accident didn't take place, she wished that she could change the outcome of everything and do things over again differently.

But it's impossible. She can't change a single thing that has already happened.

She was having a dream about being in the hospital, awaiting for good news but a phone call interrupted it. Her phone vibrated against the desk and her eyes slowly fluttered open. She stared at the screen and it read 'Tobio's Mom'.

Her heart froze for a moment. Was it going to be good news, or bad news?

She hurriedly picked up the call and hear Kageyama's mother's voice. "(Name), I have news."

From the tone of her voice, she couldn't decide whether his mother was going to reveal good or bad news. But still she answered, "Yes, obasan?"

"Are you busy? If not, would you mind coming down to the hospital?"

Without wasting any time, (Name) picked up her bag and dashed out of school. She decided to run to the hospital since the bus was taking longer than usual to arrive.

At last, she reached her destination. She sprinted to Kageyama's ward and bolted through the doors.

[Your point of view]

I slammed the doors open, and all eyes were on me, Tobio's parents, his team mates and friends. They had a sad look on their faces, but I didn't know what they meant.
