so last night i added my crush on snapchat and he added me back so i decided to make this lmao

you were walking down the hall with your best friend, and saw your crush, grayson dolan, at his locker. just as you walked past him he shut his locked gently, and looked over at you, smiling.

you blushed, and looked away.

"y/f/n! that was grayson!" you whispered excitedly.

"i know! why didn't you say hi?"

"i was scared." you mumbled.

"ugh, y/n you're gonna get nowhere with him if you can't even say hi."

"i know but what if he thinks i'm weird or something. plus he's kinda intimidating."

"he won't, he'll just think you're being friendly."

"maybe i'll follow him on instagram first."

"you don't follow him on instagram?" your friend asked, shocked.

"no." you mumbled.

you and your friends sat down at a table in the cafeteria. you took out your lunch bag and unpacked your lunch.

"y/n, don't you have some following to do?" y/f/n asked. she was sitting across from you.

you sighed, and took out your phone. you went onto your instagram app, and went to type in grayson's username.

"i can't. i'm scared." you said, putting your phone down.

"oh give it to me." your friend took your phone off the table. when she handed it back to you, it was open on grayson's page. he was public, and you assumed he wouldn't follow you back. he barely notices you at school, and probably doesn't even know your name.

you started to eat your lunch, and within minutes your phone went off. it was grayson, requesting to follow you.

"y/f/n! look!" you yelled, grinning. you held your phone up for your friend to see.

"accept it!" she said back.

you clicked accept, and locked your phone.

"see, it's not that bad." y/f/n said.

your phone went off again. it was grayson, dming you.

"y/f/n, he just dmed me. why did he dm me?" you asked, getting really nervous.

"just open it, y/n."

you opened the dm. it just said hey.

you responded, and grayson responded almost immediately afterwards.
