you and your boyfriend grayson had just boarded your plane. the two of you were on your way to new jersey, to visit grayson's family. grayson's brother ethan couldn't make it this time, because he was busy with his girlfriend. grayson and ethan didn't wanna overwhelm their parents if both their sons brought their girlfriends over.

you had met grayson's parents only once, but well he was facetiming them. you've never met them in person. you have met his older sister, cameron, though.

the flight was boring. you and grayson just sat there watching movies and making small talk. finally, the plane landed. you and grayson got off, and looked for grayson's family in the airport. you saw three people all holding signs that read "y/n and grayson!" and you knew they were grayson's family.

"mom! dad!" grayson yelled out. he caught his parents attention, and they started walking over to you and their son.

"hi, grayson!" grayson's mom said as she pulled him in for a hug. cameron said hi to you, and gave you a hug.

"mom, dad, this is my girlfriend, y/n." grayson introduced you.

"hi, y/n. i'm lisa." grayson's mom introduced herself, along with his dad.

"and i'm sean." he said.

"nice to meet you both." you said with a smile.

"and i'm cameron, but we've met before." cameron said, and everyone laughed.

"let's get going home, you two are probably tired." lisa said. she started leading you all out of the airport, and out to the parking lot. you and grayson put your luggage in the trunk before getting into the car. sometime during the ride, you fell asleep with your head on grayson's shoulder.
