your husband gently knocked on your bedroom door. you looked up at him, before putting your head back down on the pillow. you yawned and stretched, before feeling a weight being added to the bed. you looked up to see grayson crawling onto the bed.

"good morning." he mumbled. you smiled, and sat up.

"good morning." you said softly. grayson kissed your forehead before turning his body so his weight was on the bed, and not you.

"you hungry?" he asked. you nodded. "breakfast's ready downstairs." grayson said before getting off the bed. you pulled the blankets off you, and put your feet on the cold hardwood floor. you grabbed your black fuzzy robe off your vanity chair, and pulled it on before following grayson out of your room.

you walked past your child's room, to make sure she was still asleep. you went into her room, and checked on her. grayson waited for you in the doorway. you smiled up at him before leaving the room. grayson kissed your head as you walked past, and followed you downstairs.

on the kitchen counter was a plate full of pancakes, and a plate of bacon. surrounding the food was fruit, plates, utensils, orange juice, and glasses. grayson had even bought flowers, and set them out in a vase. you sat down at the kitchen island, and fixed yourself a plate.

"thank you for this, gray." you said.

"it's my pleasure." he replied as he got his own food, and sat down beside you.

even after being with grayson for nearly six years, two of those years as a married couple, you realized that your love don't change, and you wouldn't want it any other way.
