snow day [g]

you and your best friend grayson were in the car on your way to a ski hill. grayson was in new jersey visiting, and they had gotten alot of snow over night. grayson still wanted to make the most out of the day because he goes back to los angeles soon, and hardly ever sees you.

he pulled into the parking lot, and you both got out of his car. the two of you were already bundled up in snow pants, coats, hats and mitts. you were planning on renting skis. 

you and grayson walked up to this brown wooden hut. there was two people inside, and you could tell that it was quite toasty in there.

there were many options for what you could do on the hill, like skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or tubing. grayson asked what you wanted to do, and you kinda wanted to go tubing.

"one tube please." grayson told one of the people inside the hut. he nodded, and told grayson how much it'd cost. grayson gave him the money. the employee took the money, then grabbed his coat off a coat hanger in the back corner of the hut. the workers had been in just sweaters.

the employee left the hut through the back door. he walked around the hut, meeting you and grayson.

"follow me please." he said, and led you and grayson over to a shed. he unlocked the shed door, and went inside. he came back out with a large black and red circular tube with two seat type things. it also had three handles; two on the ends and one in the middle. the worker handed grayson the tube. grayson thanked him, and the employee locked up the shed again.

"enjoy!" he yelled as he walked back to the hut. grayson noticed some rules on a metal sign on the shed door. he read them out loud to you before the two of you walked away, and made your way over to the hill. there wasn't too many people here, probably because of all the snow. it was hard, and dangerous, to drive around in.

grayson put the tube down at the top of the hill, and held it for you so you could get in. you carefully got in, and grayson pushed off on the tube. just as it started moving, grayson jumped inside. his weight made the tube move a bit more, until it was sliding down the hill. you gripped the handles, until the tube came to a complete stop at the bottom of the hill. you and grayson got out, and walked it back up.

you and grayson had already been at the ski hill for about an hour. the two of you had gone down the hill in the tube a few times, but right now you were at the bottom of the hill, playing in the snow. grayson was lying down in it, tired.

"gray, i'm cold." you said. he lifted his head up to look at you.

"wanna get going?" he asked. you nodded, and stood up. you brushed the snow off your pants and jacket, and grabbed the tube. grayson grabbed the other side and you guys walked up the hill together. grayson put the tube beside the shed, which is what the rule sign said to do.

you were silently shivering behind him as he put it away, and he came over you to.

"are you okay?" he chuckled.

"yeah, just r-really c-cold." you replied. your teeth chattered slightly. grayson smiled and wrapped you in a bear hug.

"let's go back to the car." he mumbled. you nodded, and grayson pulled away. the two of you started walking back to the car. once you got there, you took off your hat, mitts, and snow pants and put them in the trunk. grayson did the same.

you and grayson got into the car. you ended stopped for hot chocolate on the way home, which helped warm you up.

hopefully you guys like this. i got a lot of snow last night so that was kinda my inspiration lol

i also got a puppy yesterday!!!!! so i've had to take him outside in the snow a few times lol

he's an eight week old great dane, named jaxon. i wanted to call him grayson because he's grey loll but my family didn't like it.

anyways, comment through out this and i'll try to respond to all or most of them. i feel like i'm really inactive towards you guys and i wanna change that.
