the polar express [e]

the polar express has always been one of my fav christmas movies, and i miss that time of year...so here's a polar express/christmas themed imagine :))))))

a low rumble filled up your room. you sat up in bed, and looked around. there was a yellow light flowing into your room from the window. you got out of bed, and walked over to your window. a large black train was pulling up in front of your house. it's whistle was loud, and sharp.

you grabbed your robe off the post on your bed frame, and shoved your feet into the matching slippers before running downstairs. you pulled open your front door, and walked outside. the train came to a dead stop, like it hadn't been moving at all. you cautiously walked up to the train.

a man wearing a blue suit walked off the train. he had a dark moustache, and was holding a gold pocket watch.

"hello." you said. the man looked down at you before straightening up again.

"all aboard!" he yelled out into the dark night.

"uh, where does this train go?" you asked. you were tempted, but also nervous to get on.

"why to the north pole, of course!" the man said.

"the..the north pole?"

"yes, now are you coming?"

you took a step back. the man looked back down at his pocket watch.

"alright, suit yourself." he said before getting back on the train, and leaving your sight.

the train slowly started moving, and you decided that you did wanna get on. you ran after the train, and grabbed onto a rail that was on the side. you opened the door, and pulled yourself inside the train. you were in a small room, with two doors on either side of you. you went into the part of the train that had more people in it. you slid the door open, and walked inside. the kids inside were laughing and talking. there wasn't alot of places to sit, but you did find an empty spot. it was beside a boy that had dark hair, and hazel eyes.

"is anyone sitting here?" you asked. the boy looked up, and shook his head. his hair flicked around, and fell in front of his eyes. you sat down beside the boy, and stared out of one of the front windows.

"i'm ethan, by the way." the boy said. you looked over at him, and saw that he was smiling.

"i'm y/n." you replied.

"nice to meet you, y/n."

"you too, ethan."

you and ethan continued talking for awhile, and had quite the adventure together while on the train. you even got to meet santa once you arrived at the north pole!
