birthday plans [e+g]

"so what do you guys wanna do today?" you asked your best friends, ethan and grayson. today was their 17th birthday.

"i'm not really sure." grayson muttered.

"i kinda wanna go skating." ethan said.

"yeah! skating's fun." grayson said.

"alright, let's go." you said. the three of you got off the couch and made your way to the front door.

"we can rent skates there, right?" grayson asked as he slipped his shoes on.

"yeah probably." you replied.

the three of you left the apartment and walked to the elevator. you got inside and went down to the parking garage. you all got into ethan and grayson's truck, and drove towards the arena.

you arrived at the arena and went inside. you went to the front desk to get your skates and pay your entry fee before going to the dressing room to put the skates on. the three of you sat down on the bench, and put the skates on.

you finished, and left the dressing room. you went out into the arena, and skated out onto the ice. grayson and ethan made their way out onto the ice, and stumbled as soon as they stepped on.

"you guys okay?" you asked, chuckling.

"oh yeah, just fine." they said.

"come on, i'll help you." you said, holding out your hands. grayson and ethan each took one, and slowly started skating. they glided on the ice, taking very small steps.

"see, you're getting it!" you said, grinning.

the three of you continued skating around. ethan and grayson finally got the hang of it. you all ended up taking a bunch of pictures together, and eventually it was time to go.

you all went to the dressing room, took your skates off, and left the arena.
