coffee shop [g]

you had just finished a long day at work, and wanted to go home and relax. on your way home you drove past a coffee shop, and decided to stop at it.

you parked your car and got out before going inside the coffee shop. you got in line behind a tall guy with brown hair. you couldn't see his face.

the guy kept shifting his weight from foot to foot, and swaying back and forth. he looked behind him at one point, just looking around. you noticed that he had goldenish hazel eyes, and a sharp jawline. his eyes scanned the room, almost like he was looking for someone. his eyes fell on yours and he smiled slightly. you didn't get a chance to smile back as he turned back around.

you were next in line to order. the guy in front of you was just about to pay.

"i'll pay for the lady behind me too." you heard him say. the lady behind the counter punched something into the computer, and the man paid. he turned around and smiled at you, before moving out of the way so you could order.

"you didn't have to do that." you said with a smile.

"i wanted to." he replied.

you ordered a muffin and a hot chocolate, and the man slid his debit card into the machine once it was time to pay.

"thank you." you said. you and the guy moved down the counter, and waited for your orders.

"i'm grayson, by the way." the guy said and held out his hand.

"y/n." you smiled and shook his hand.

the two of you got your orders and went to sit down at a table. you started talking with each other, and hadn't even realized how much time had passed.

i've been binge watching friends for a few days now so that inspired this even tho it isnt good.

its currently 3:30 in the morning but thats okay because i have successfully updated all my stories today!!
