helps you get ready [e]

"come on ethan, leave me alone." you chuckled and gently shoved your boyfriend away. you were getting ready to go out with some friends but ethan wasn't letting you get ready.

"let me help you." he suggested, playing with your slightly damp hair. you had just gotten out of the shower.

you sighed. "fine, but you have to listen to me." you said. you saw ethan grin in your vanity mirror. he walked around you, so he was now beside you.

"alright princess, what's first?" he asked.

"uhh, wanna try doing my makeup?"

"sure. what do i have to put on first?"

you looked through some of your makeup, trying to find your concealer. you didn't really wanna put foundation on because it'd be hard for ethan to apply.

"here, do this first." you said and handed him your concealer. ethan unscrewed the top and pulled the wand out. 

"what do i do with this?" he asked, looking at the wand.

"put it under my eyes, in kind of a triangle shape. make sure you don't put too much and that it's a smooth layer." you instructed. ethan nodded, and used his thumb and forefinger to turn your head in his direction. he held your head still as he applied the makeup. you felt the cold product touch your skin, and watched ethan as he concentrated on what he was doing. he stuck his tongue out at the corner of his mouth as he focussed.

"okay, is that all?" he asked once he was done with your eyes.

"put some on any red spots, and wherever you think i need it." you replied.

"i don't think you need it anywhere." ethan told you. you smiled as ethan put the wand back into the tube. he pulled it out again, and did as you told him. you felt the makeup on your skin once more as ethan put some on either side of your nose, and a bit on your forehead.

"okay, that's good." he said and screwed the top back on the concealer. he put it down on your desk, and grabbed your beauty blender.

"i use this, right?" he asked. you nodded, and ethan went to work. he pulled away to admire your face, and his blending. you looked in the mirror, but ethan almost immediately moved your head back to look at him.

"do the eyes next." you said.

"eyes?" ethan asked.

"yeah, mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner." you chuckled.

"oh, okay. well which ones are those?"

you looked through your makeup again, and grabbed your mascara and eyeliner. you opened up a drawer in your desk, and pulled out your naked palette. you put them all down on your desk and shut the drawer. ethan picked up the mascara, and opened the bottle.

"i suggest you do eyeshadow first." you said. ethan nodded and closed the mascara. he put it down, and grabbed your eyeshadow palette.

"which brush do i use?" he asked.

"uhhh.." you said as you looked through your container of brushes. they were all just in a pencil holder. "this one." you pulled out a small brush and handed it to ethan.

ethan took the brush from you and opened up the palette. he looked at your face, mainly your eyes, before deciding on a colour. it was a light brown one. ethan ran the brush over the colour, and gently put it on your eyelid. he brushed it all around so it was even, and as clean looking as possible. ethan did the other eye, and examined his work.

"i don't know if this is good. you might wanna look at it." ethan said. you looked in the mirror, looking at the eyeshadow.

"it looks good." you said and faced ethan again.

"okay. is that all for eyeshadow?" he asked.

"umm, yeah i think so. i'm not gonna make you blend or anything. that's too hard." you said. ethan closed the eyeshadow palette and put it down on the desk along with the brush. he then picked up the eyeliner.

"you might wanna do this." he said. you smiled and took the eyeliner from ethan. you grabbed your small table top mirror so that you could see your eyes better. you quickly did your eyeliner, making a small wing. you then put the eyeliner down and grabbed the mascara.

"want me to do this too?" you asked. ethan nodded.

"yeah, i don't wanna poke you in the eye." he replied.

you did your mascara, and decided to finish up your makeup. you did your eyebrows, and added some finishing touches.

your hair was now dry, and you decided ethan could do that. you opened up the bottom drawer in your desk and took out your hair straighter. you plugged it in, and waited for it to heat up. ethan had taken a seat on your bed as he waited for you to finish your makeup but just got up and walked over to you.

you stood up from your chair, and walked over to ethan.

"i'm gonna get dressed while i wait for that to heat up." you told him. ethan gulped and sat down in your vanity chair. he stared at himself in the mirror as you walked over to your closet. you shuffled through your clothes, before deciding on a black dress. it was form fitting, with lace sleeves and ended about mid calf. you grabbed a pair of black heels to go with the dress.

you got dressed with your back facing ethan. you turned around, and saw that he was still staring in the mirror. he grinned when he saw your dress. you smiled back at him, and walked over to your dresser. you open up your jewellery box and take out a statement necklace covered in diamonds. you put it on, since the front of your dress is pretty boring. you walked over to ethan and he got up from your chair. you sat down, and grabbed your heat protectant spray. you sprayed some on and put the bottle away before picking up your hair straightener.

ethan slowly straightened your hair. he was too busy admiring you and your dress to pay attention to your hair. he finally finished, and put your straightener down. you shut it off, and unplugged it before standing up from your chair.

"ready to go?" ethan asked.

you nodded. "yeah, my friend should be here."

you grabbed your shoes from off the floor and left your room. you and ethan went downstairs, and walked to the front door so you could put your shoes on.

"don't be gone too long." ethan said. you smirked at him and opened the front door.

"i'll try not to be." you said.

"okay. well stay safe, and text me when you get there." ethan said. he quickly kissed you, and you left the house. ethan watched as you walked down the driveway, and got into your friend's car.
