you sat on your couch, reading through instagram comments. your boyfriend ethan came out of the bedroom that you shared with him.

"babe? what's wrong?" ethan asked. you were facing the bedroom doorway, so he could see your face.

"what? nothing. i-i'm fine."

"y/n, you're crying." ethan mumbled. he came over to you and sat down beside you.

you wiped away the tears that you hadn't noticed had fallen, and sniffled.

"it's the fans." you mumbled, almost embarrassed.

"the fans? what are they saying?" ethan asked. he tilted your phone towards him so he could see what you were looking at. he read some of the comments. you watched as his eyebrows furrowed, and he frowned.

"babe, i'm so sorry. just please know that none of that is true. you're beautiful, and you make me happy. and, i love you." ethan told you. he looked genuinely upset.

"thank you, ethan. i love you too." you said with a small smile. ethan smiled back at you.

no one deserves hate, especially someone that makes ethan and/or grayson happy. if you're a true fan, you'll realize that they're happy, and you shouldn't throw a bunch of negativity at a positive thing. bc lets be realllll none of us are actually gonna date them lmao so their relationships with people don't affect us!!
