"grayson..look at me please." you mumbled. tears streamed down your face as you stared at the back of your now ex boyfriend's head.

"i'm sorry." he whispered. "the hardest part of all of this is leaving you."

"so then don't. please, grayson. i need you."

grayson spun around. "y/n, you don't need me. you cheated on me." he said.

you whimpered, and pulled your bottom lip into your mouth.

"i'm sorry grayson. i wasn't thinking." you said softly. he sighed, and you bit down harder on your lip.

"don't do this." he whispered. "don't stand there and beg me to come back to you, because i can't. you hurt me, y/n."

you took a step towards grayson, but he took one back. you saw his eyes quickly flash down to your lips, and back up to your eyes before he looked away.

you studied his face. he looked tired. he had dark circles under his eyes. his lips were chapped and faded. grayson looked back at you, and you looked him in the eyes.

"i'm sorry." he said, and walked away.
