you got off a plane at the los angeles airport, and grabbed your two suitcases, and backpack. you left the airport, and got into a taxi that was waiting out front for you. after telling the driver your address, he drove away.

a few minutes later, the taxi pulled up in front of a tall apartment building, that had a moving fan parked out front. you paid the driver, and got out of the car. you made sure you had all your luggage before walking over to the moving truck. there was two men sitting inside. one was eating a sandwich, while the other was on his phone.

you gently tapped on the window and the driver, the one on his phone, rolled the window down.

"are you y/n y/l/n?" he asked.

you nodded. "that's me." you smiled.

"let's go." the man said to the other guy, who had just finished his sandwich. they both got out of the truck, and you stood out of the way of the door as it swung open and the driver stepped out.

"i'm john, and this is brad." the driver said. both the men shook your hand, before walking around to the back of the truck. brad pulled the back open, and you looked inside. all your belongings still seemed to be in one piece.

"you're in three b, right?" brad asked. you nodded.

"i'll lead the way up." you said. brad and john each grabbed a cardboard box filled with your stuff, and followed you up the stairs. you took the elevator up to the second floor, and walked to the second room on the left side of the hallway.

you heard music coming for the apartment across from you, and shook your head. it was the first day of summer, so you understood why people would be happy, but you mentally prayed your neighbors wouldn't always be this loud.

you unlocked the white door with a brass 3B on it, and went inside. you brought your suitcases into your bedroom, and told the movers to just put the boxes down where ever. you looked around at your new apartment for the first time in a couple weeks, and you were still amazed by it. there was a large balcony, with an amazing view of los angeles. the kitchen had white marble counters, with dark cupboards. there was two bedrooms, yours had an ensuite bathroom. it truly was amazing, and you were in love with it.

you left the apartment to go help the movers bring more stuff up, but they stopped you. they said it was their job, and you shouldn't have to do any work. you stayed inside your apartment, and decided to start unpacking the two boxes that were brought in. you put them on the large island that was in the middle of the kitchen, and pulled them open. thankfully, they were both filled with dishes and kitchen stuff. you started unwrapping all your dishes, since they were all wrapped in bubble wrap, and put them away.

you heard chatter out in the hallway, and a door close. a few minutes later, there was a knock at your door. you looked around the corner to see who was there, since your front door was wide open.

two boys stood in your doorway, each about nineteen. they looked identical, but their hair was different. one had lightish hair up in a wave, while the other had dark hair, that didn't look too styled.

"hi, you must be the new neighbor!" the boy with light hair said, smiling.

"that's me. i'm y/n." you replied, and walked to your front door.

"i'm grayson, and this is my twin brother, ethan."

"nice to meet you two." you said, and shook both of their hands.

"do you want any help with unpacking?" ethan, the dark haired boy, asked.

"uhh, sure. come on in." you moved out of the way for the two boys to come inside. grayson smiled at you as he walked past you. the boys waited for you once they were inside, and you led them into the kitchen.

"you don't have a lot of stuff." ethan said. you think he was joking.

you chuckled lightly. "the movers are downstairs, bringing more stuff up."

"well why don't me and my big bro go help them?" grayson suggested.

you looked at him, puzzled. "big? i thought you were twins?"

"well, one of us had to be born first." grayson winked.

"yup, i was the first one out." ethan chuckled.

"okay, let's go. i don't think she wants to hear about us coming out of our mom." grayson said, and grabbed his brother's arm.

"we'll be right back!" ethan shouted as they left the apartment. you smiled to yourself, and went back to putting your stuff away. a few minutes later, brad and john came back up. they were carrying your black leather couch, with a few of your bags on top. you knew they had all your blankets in them.

"thanks, just set it down over here." you instructed, and pointed to a spot in the living room. you then went and grabbed the bags off the couch, and brought them into your bedroom.

an hour later, everything was upstairs, and the moving truck was empty. ethan and grayson were shirtless from how hot it had gotten, and just had their shirts hanging over their shoulders.

you paid the movers, and they left. ethan and grayson stayed behind to help you unpack a bit more, but you insisted that you had it all under control. ethan said his goodbyes, and waited for grayson at the front door.

"we should hang out sometime, y/n." grayson said with a smile.

"well, you know where i live! feel free to come over anytime."

"thanks, you can always come to our place too." grayson replied.

"yeah, just make sure you knock." you grinned.

grayson chuckled. "oh you can just walk into our apartment whenever you want." he said. you assumed he was just kidding.

"anyways, i have alot to do. bye, grayson."

"bye, y/n." grayson and his brother left your apartment, gently closing the door behind them.
