you sat at the edge of your bed, with your head in your hands. you shared an apartment room with your boyfriend, grayson.

he was never home though. he always used to say that he was out with ethan, but you found out it wasn't true. he had been cheating on you for about two months, and you were heart broken.

you tried to choke back a sob, but it slipped past your lips. a few minutes later, there was a knock on your bedroom door.

"y/n, it's me...it's ethan." you heard ethan say.

"c-come in." you mumbled. the door opened, but you kept your head down. ethan shut the door and walked over to you. you felt the bed dip down as ethan sat beside you. he put a hand on your back, and slowly started running it up and down.

"it's okay." ethan whispered. he was trying to calm you down, but you knew it wasn't okay. you loved grayson, he was your everything. but he didn't feel the same way.

you tried to calm down, but continued to sob. ethan patiently sat beside you, until you lifted your head and looked up at ethan. he wiped your tears with his thumb, and smiled softly at you.
