skateboarding [e]

you and your boyfriend ethan had just pulled into a local skate park. ethan was gonna try and teach you how to skateboard today. you were always complaining about how ethan and his brother grayson always go skateboarding together but you can never go because you don't know how to do it.

"come on, y/n. we'll start on a flat area." ethan said as he got out of his car. you were kinda nervous, and hesitantly got out of the car. ethan grabbed the two skateboards from the backseat, and shut the car door.

ethan ran over to the skate park, and found a good place to start practicing.  he put the two skateboards down beside each other.

"get on yours, but don't go anywhere yet." ethan instructed. you put one foot onto the skateboard, and kept your other foot planted to the ground. ethan walked away from you, before turning around to face you.

"okay, kick off from the sidewalk and put that foot onto the board as you move. put your arms out for balance if you need to." ethan said. you did as he told, and he caught you as you came speeding towards him.

"that was scary!" you said loudly as you laughed.

"fun though, right?" ethan asked as he grinned at you.

you nodded, and tried to turn the skateboard around.

"i wanna know how to turn and stuff." you said.

"okay. well it's mainly all in the arms, and hips." ethan replied, and put his hands on your waist. you straightened up, and turned your head to the side so you could see ethan through the corner of your eye. he was getting on his board, with his hands still on your waist.

ethan kicked off on his skateboard, and you unexpectedly started moving. you reached back to try and grab ethan because you were scared you'd fall.

"you're okay. i've got you." ethan mumbled.

a corner was coming up, and you weren't sure how to go around it. ethan gently pulled you backwards, so you were leaning back, with your feet still on the board. you stuck your arms out by your sides, and felt yourself turning. ethan was still holding your hips, and straightened out your back when you were around the turn.

"you did it!" ethan said. you grinned, and put your arms down.

"you helped though." you replied.

"yeah, i guess i did. now try it yourself." ethan said. he let go of your hips, and quickly turned away from you. he skated back over to where the two of you were before. you slowly and carefully tried to turn yourself around, and felt yourself falling. you panicked, and put your foot down on the ground. the board kept going, and slid out from underneath you. it rolled down the sidewalk, and was stopped by a running ethan. he ran over to you, and helped you up.

"are you okay?" he asked softly.

"yeah, i think so. my knee is stinging." you replied. you blinked a few times, trying to get rid of your tears.

"aww, baby got a booboo?" ethan cooed.

"yes." you said and pouted like a little kid.

ethan bent down, and planted a small kiss on your knee. ethan straightened up, and kissed your forehead.

"it's cut, but not bleeding. you're gonna be okay." ethan said.

"thank you, doctor dolan." you replied. ethan chuckled. he then wrapped an arm around your waist and helped you walk to your board. you picked it up, then walked to ethan's. he picked his up and the two of you walked back to ethan's car. he put the boards in the backseat, and helped you get into the car. ethan closed your door for you, before getting into the driver's side of his car.
