"where are we going?" you groaned from the passenger seat.

"you'll see in about five minutes." your best friend ethan replied, and looked over at you.

you were on a road trip with your best friends, ethan and grayson. ethan had been driving all night, but was now going off the highway and into a rest stop. it was about seven in the morning, and you had just woken up. grayson was still asleep in the backseat.

ethan pulled into a parking lot of a restaurant you've never been to before.

"where are we?" you asked.

"the cracker barrel! i saw a sign for it a while ago and decided to stop at it."

"we don't have these in los angeles...how long was i asleep for?"

"i know, we're in arizona. you slept pretty much all night."

"arizona!?" you exclaimed. ethan had told you that he wouldn't leave california.

"yeah. we left califonia hours ago and you were still asleep so i decided to keep going." ethan said. he shut the car off and unlocked the doors. you got out, and shut the door behind you.

you opened up grayson's door, and tried to shake him awake.

"gray, come on. wake up!" you said as you shook his shoulder. grayson opened his eyes, and looked over at you. he had a grumpy look on his face as he unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car.

"where are we?" he mumbled.

"the cracker barrel. we're here for breakfast." ethan replied.

"the what? i've never even heard of that." grayson said.

"no one has." you chuckled. "now come on, i'm hungry."

you, ethan, and grayson went inside the restaurant. you were seated at a table, and a waitress came around to take your orders.

the food came, and all three of you dug in. the food was amazing. you and your best friends had a fun time at the restaurant as you ate, and talked about random things.
