"y/n, what's wrong?" your friend, grayson, asked as he knocked on your bedroom door. you were sitting on your bed with your head in your hands, sobbing.

grayson had gone downstairs to hang out with your brother; the reason why he was here. he had just come up to use the bathroom, when he heard you crying.

"nothing, i'm fine." you managed to say without your voice breaking. you sniffled and wiped your tears away.

"can i come in?" grayson asked.

you finished drying your tears, and fixed your hair. you knew there were tears staining your cheeks, and you hoped grayson wouldn't notice.

"yeah. come in." you replied. grayson slowly opened your door, and stepped inside. he shut it behind him and walked over to you.

"what's wrong?" he asked again. grayson sat down on the edge of your bed and you scooted over a bit for him.

"nothing, i'm fine."

"i know you aren't. tell me what's wrong."

you took a deep breath. "y/b/n and i got into a fight, and now we aren't friends anymore. she isn't answering my calls or texts but i see her online. i don't know what to do, grayson. she's my best friend." you said, and broke down once more. [ a/n; y/b/n means your best friend's name ]

grayson moved closer to you, and pulled you in for a hug. he shifted around alot, and ended up leaning against your pillows, with you pulled into his side. he gently rubbed his hand up and down your free arm, the other one was resting against his chest.

"it's okay. you guys are best friends, she'll come around." grayson said quietly.

you didn't respond, as tears fell down your face. they landed on grayson's shirt but he didn't seem to mind.

crying had made you exhausted, and you drifted off to sleep in the comfort of grayson's arms.

so this just happened to me, and i really need a hug.

i just lost my best friend, so tbh i might be kinda inactive until i can either figure this out or just move on.

i'm just really really upset.
