night swims [e]

you and your boyfriend, ethan, and his brother, grayson, were out in their family's boat. it was late at night, around one a.m. there was no one else on the water, and it was very dark. the moon reflected off the water.

"this look like a good place to stop?" grayson asked, stopping the boat.

"yeah, even though it doesn't matter." ethan replied. grayson cut the engine, and walked to the back of the boat. he took the anchor out of it's compartment, and dropped it into the water with a loud splash.

you took off your shorts and tshirt, leaving yourself in just your bikini. you, grayson, and ethan had gone out to buy neon bathing suits so you could see each other easier. your bikini was pink. ethan's swimming shorts were orange, grayson's were green.

ethan took his shirt off, and jumped into the water. you saw his head pop up from underwater, and walked to the edge of the boat. you put your legs out of the boat, and sat on the edge of it.

"it's cold!" you exclaimed. ethan swam over to you, and put his wet hands on your thighs.

"just come in. it's nice once you're in." ethan took your hand, and helped you into the water. you pushed off the side of the boat with your other hand, and plunged underwater.

you popped back to the surface, and ethan was right there in front of you.

"see, it's not so bad." he said. you could tell he was smiling even in the dark. ethan grabbed your waist, and pulled you closer to him. he turned you around, and pulled you against his chest. the two of you treaded in the water, you back pressed up against ethan.

there was a loud splash, and grayson came into view. you and ethan wiped the water from the splash out of your faces, grayson laughing.

ethan splashed his brother, and soon they were both splashing each other. you moved out of the way, and laughed as you watched them.

eventually grayson surrendered, and swam away. he treaded in the water, and occasionally went underwater.

you were starting to feel tired and cold, and got out of the water. ethan helped you inside the boat, before following you in. he grabbed two towels off the ground of the boat, and wrapped one around you. he wrapped the other one around his shoulders, and pulled you in for a hug, trying to warm you up.
