Scott's POV
Wednesday passes quickly. It's just a normal schoolday except that I'm sitting with Mitch, his friends and Kirstie at lunch.
Wednesday is training day since we've had a bit of problems with rogues. It's nothing big but I want to be prepared.
I drive home with Kirstie after school. She is my partner with training cause we've trained together since we were young. She's a very good fighter, she's strong and fast.
I pull up at the center of town. We have some sort of gym where everyone above 16 years is going to train. Only people with diseases or handicaps are excused, but that's highly uncommon under werewolves. I have one packmember with asthma but that's it.
We walk inside the building together. I see that the pack is already there, they don't like to keep their beta and alpha waiting, which is good cause I can't wait to be done with this. I have a date to plan.
"Everyone shift!" I order, waiting to shift myself. "We're going to train in wolf form today!" I shift too after I've said this.
Kirstie and I fight for a while, never hurting each other of course. I win everytime. I beat everyone else in less than 5 minutes, Kirstie can usually hold on longer than that.
After a few battles between Kirstie and me, we help others improve their fighting skills.
Another half hour of doing that and training is finally done. I normally don't mind training that much but today I just want to be done. I've never asked anyone out before so I need to plan this out correctly. I can't screw this up. How does this even work? Do I just take him to dinner and movie? With wolves it's usually that once you've found your mate, you will jump him or her and have sex. No weirdness with wolves. Humans though, they are so complicated.
I drive back to my home, opening the door and getting inside. I go up to stairs avoiding everyone. Maybe I should ask Kirstie? I mean, she's a girl she probably knows stuff like this.
'Kirstie, can you come to my room please?' I ask her through mindlink. Mindlink is really handy sometimes, I don't need to shout or message her. It can be annoying sometimes though. People can always be in your head, it's not like they can read my mind but they can always talk to me. I can close my mind of but it costs energy and it's kind of hard.
She immediately comes running in my room. ''Is something wrong?'' She asks, a wild look in her eyes. Her top few buttons are undone and her hair looks like she just came out of bed. I don't think that is where she came from though, at least not alone.
''No nothing's wrong. Is this a bad time? You can come back later if you want, I just need some advice.'' I ask her with a side smirk.
''Yes you were actually interrupting something.'' She says, her face unimpressed, no shame. ''But you asking for advice is worth it. I don't know if that ever happened before.'' She says, sitting down on my bed.
I scoff at her. ''Yeah, Yeah. I just need boy advice.'' I never expected I would say that. I've never had trouble with hooking up before. It's not that I am arrogant or something, it's just that wolves do everything to get power, which involves getting with the alpha. I've experienced it in my pack but also in other packs. I'm ashamed to say that I sometimes can't resist the urge, I can't say that I've stayed a virgin for my mate. I wanted to but I just got strong urges and wolves were practically throwing themselves at my feet. I've only had one night stands though, never really a serious relationship.
''Oh.'' She looks a bit disappointed. What did she think this was about? ''I don't know if I can help you with that.'' She says, already retreating to the door.
''Please Kirstie, you must have some sort of idea of a good date.'' I practically beg her.
She stays quiet for a while, seemingly in thought. ''I think for a first date just a dinner is fine.'' She says eventually.
''But that seems so cliche. Who knows with how many guys he's had a date like that.'' I say. My wolf is getting restless at the thought of Mitch going on dates with other guys.
''It's about the guy he is on a date with in the end Scott. If he really likes you, the date doesn't matter that much. Just don't blow it. Him you can blow.'' Kirstie winks over her shoulder before walking out of the room. The girl is not good at giving advice. I'm not going to blow Mitch on our first date. That is a bit too fast for him I think. I won't mind though, definitely not.
But I have to think of something decent to do tomorrow, not of what Mitch's cock would feel like in my mouth. Just thinking of it already has me semi hard. Shit. Grandmas, grandpas, grandmas and grandpas having sex. That should help that problem.
I look up some nice restaurants on my phone. I actually find one that looks cute and decent. I don't want to go too fancy but I also don't want our first date to be at McDonalds.
Should I message Mitch to ask him if he can go out this friday? I think friday is the day to go out. Will we kiss at the end like in movies? Will he initiate it or should I? I swear this is so confusing. Maybe I should call him, that is a bit more personal than messaging. Asking him in real life would be best of course but I really want to ask now. I'm just gonna call him.
I dial his number, waiting patiently for his answer.
''Hello?'' His voice sounds through the phone. It sounds even higher than in real life, so cute.
''Hey it's Scott. Uhm, I wanted to know if you have time this friday? To go to dinner with me?'' I say all at once. I don't give myself time to back out.
''Yes sure!'' He says, sounding excited. I love that he is excited and doesn't try to cover it up.
I smile, even though he can't see it. What do I say now? ''Cool.'' Seriously Scott. ''I'll see you tomorrow then. Wear something cute on the date. Even though you always look cute.'' Smooth Scott. I cough awkwardly.
Mitch giggles, making me smile wider. ''Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow!'' He says, his voice sounding cheery before he hangs up.
I really want it to be friday. I know it's going to be a amazing date, I'm going with an amazing boy after all. I can't wait till friday.
