37~ Mission Kill Joffrey

Mitch's POV

I decide to go back to uni that day. I haven't been there for a few days but it feels like 5 centuries. A lot has happened in the last couple of days. I need some normality now, just a boring day at uni with Amanda and Tod.

I step out of my car, heading towards the building. Scott's pack was going to attack another pack or something. What does that even mean? Why would he attack another pack? People don't just randomly attack other people right?

Shit. I came to uni to get my mind off Scott and try to have my normal life back and now I can't stop thinking about him. What else is new though? I always think about him, he occupies my mind.

I finally arrive at the classroom, seeing Amanda and Todrick talking to each other. They both look up when they see me. "Mitch! Where have you been this morning and yesterday?" It's already Tuesday afternoon. I missed yesterday and this morning.

"Uhm, some things came up." I know this is the vaguest answer possible but I'm not going to tell them that my boyfriend turns out to be a wolf and that it was a full moon yesterday.

They keep looking at me, waiting for me to tell them what things caused me to not come to school yesterday and this morning. "Some family stuff." I say. I feel a bit guilty for lying but I can't tell them the truth.

And then the thing about the whole mating thing Scott told me about. I don't know how to feel about that. Of course I trust Scott and he will be careful but a bite? Like a legitimate bite? But then, it is only for one time. So if I end up hating it, at least I won't have to do it again. And I do see Scott as my long term partner, especially now that I know we're mates. So we will have sex sooner or later, rather sooner than later. And with our first time having sex he will bite me. Only when he orgasms though, what if he doesn't orgasm? Oh well, I guess we'll see when the time is there.

My dad has been acting kind of weird. He's been asking things about Scott. I can't tell if he's finally accepting me and Scott or if he's still wary about the whole Scott shifting thing. I'm hoping for the first.

A day of boring lectures and classes goes by without Scott. How long did he say this was going to take? I wish he was here with me to make this day less boring.

Scott's POV

'Attack!' I say through mindlink so the rogues won't see it coming. I run forwards attacking everything and everyone that is in my way. My wolf and I have a mission. Kill Joffrey. The bastard has to die, he will not live any longer. I'll let Kirstie kill Ramsay, I know she hates him more than me because Ramsay's brother was one of her closest friends. 

I arrive at one of the wolves closest to Joffrey, he is probably his bodyguard or something because he isn't as easy to kill as the rest. He puts up a fight, making it hard for me. 

I tackle him to the ground, trying to get his neck in the open so I can bite him to dead. Before I can do so though he kicks me off him, making me loose my balance. I almost fall but catch myself, making sure I'm steady on my paws. I loose sight of him when I do that though, so I don't see him coming from my right suddenly. He bites in my shoulder, making me cry out. It hurts like hell, I can already feel the blood dripping from my fur on the ground. I don't give up though, I can't. I choose to try to avoid him for now because I can already see one of my warriors coming to my aid by jumping him and immediately biting him in the neck so he's dead without being able to fight back. It wasn't really a fair fight but it's not like rogues fight fair. 

I nod my head to Jim, the warrior, and head off to Joffrey then. He's looking at the fight with bared teeth, but not actually fighting. 

He sees me coming, growling and showing his teeth to me. I almost laugh at him, he's nothing without his strong bodyguards. Looking at it now, I see that all his bodyguards are in a fight with wolves from my pack. He's all mine. 

I lunge at him, going full speed. He sees me coming though and can jump out of the way fast enough. We both immediately turn around to glare at each other. I make a move to my left and see him following me, trying to be fast enough to keep up with me. I step back before lunching to his left so he jumps to his right. I change my course at the last second, going to the right, knocking him of his paws. I immediately jump on top of him, putting my teeth in his neck. I don't kill him yet though, I want to look as he realizes that he is going to die. 

'What are you waiting for?!' I hear Kirstie yell in my head. I bite him, finally killing him. Making him suffer would make me as bad as he is. I'm a better person than he is so he has a quick death. Not painless though, he doesn't deserve that. 

I look behind me to see Kirstie fighting with Ramsay. It looks like it's close, they could both win. I see Jim standing behind Kirstie, ready to kill if Ramsay happens to lay Kirstie on her back. 

The vampire girl is at the leader, busy unchaining him. The other ones are actually helping us kill the rogues. 

There aren't many left though, we are obviously winning. Rogues aren't as strong as us because they haven't had proper training probably in years and there also isn't enough food for rogues so they're all underweight. Except Joffrey and Ramsay of course. 

I help my packmembers win some fights here and there, killing the remaining rogues. 

My shoulder is burning but I refuse to stop until all the rogues are dead. If every wolf would just behave there wouldn't be rogues. Or if they would just live in a human city and get a real job we wouldn't have this problem. 

Finally about 10 minutes later all the rogues are dead. I check my pack, making sure that there are no deaths. I don't see any bodies but there are about three wolves missing, meaning they are hurt, probably being treated by Kevin. 

I shift back, it hurts because of my shoulder but I survive. All the other wolves of my pack shift back too, following me. I look around to see any big injuries, I see none to my relief. Very good. 

My shoulder is really hurting like crazy now. The adrenaline has mostly left my body and I just feel drained now. 

Everything starts to spin and I can hardly stay standing. I look over at my shoulder to see a lot of blood, more than I had expected. My vision starts to blur, I hear Kirstie scream my name before I fall to the ground, everything going completely black. 

I listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers mostly while writing my chapters. They are so good I can seriously recommend them. They are my favorite band after ptx of course.
