I leaned back into my chair. I glanced over the top of the file at Oliver. He sat hunched over an open drawer, filing papers away. My eyes flicked back to the folder in my hands.

"Thom, can you look at these numbers?"

I slid the report over to him. He snatched it up, eyes scanning quickly.

"Is this Payroll?"

I nodded.

"These numbers are outrageous."

I thumbed through the rest of the pages, finding the previous statement.

"Now look at this one."

He sat them side by side.

"There is no way that they generated a 2 million in just a quarter. Especially for it to be used towards payroll."

I smiled.

"My thoughts exactly."

We gave each other a look.

"Then where did the money come from?"

He withdrew a highlighter from his briefcase and quickly marked on the pages.

"It really only seems to apply to these two."

I grabbed the sheet and studied it.

"Dustin and, who is this?"

"Jason. I guess he's a primary funder."

I smirked.

"Doesn't this look familiar?"

I gave Thom a look.

"Based on the way this looks, two things could have happened. Someone could have displaced a number or two in their system."

"If displacement is what you call embezzling now."

I set the papers down and leaned forward against my desk. I peered past Thom, looked to the beautiful boy.  He was beaming, lips curled in a delicate smile at someone. There was a sharp wrap on the door. Talia poked her head in.

"Josh, your 4 o'clock is here."

Thom shuffled the papers away, jamming them into his briefcase. She opened the door and in stepped Dustin Carlile and Austin. Another tall, fit man followed. I tore my gaze from Oliver and met Austin's face. It was hard and rigid. I offered him a polite indignant smile. They came and sat in front of my desk. They all bore the same expression. Thom cleared his throat.

"Good afternoon gentlemen. I'm Thomas, financial director. I called you here in regards to your financial benefits of a Kelltec Partnership."
