Chapter 35

I woke up the next morning and looked around, Justin was alseep with is arms around me still. He looked cute when he was alseep, peaceful and calm. I smiled at him before getting up, well attempting because Justin tightened his grip when i tried sitting up. He groaned and made a little movement but didn't wake. My phone brought me out of my thoughts.

"Hello?" i said still watching Justin. It hurt to talk and i felt sick, must be from standing out in the rain.

"Jessica, please tell me Justin is with you?" Pattie says in a tired and worried tone. Oh i forgot to call her last night she must have been up all night worried about Justin.

"Oh Pattie, he is alright. He is alseep, i forgot to call last night i am so sorry...I made sure he was alright and he just crashed here," i tell her hearing her give a sigh of releif. 

"Thank goodness... Thank you dear, please have him call me when he wake," she says sounding relaxed now.

"I will," i say before hanging up on here. I hear Justin Groan again and i laugh.

"Seriously, i know i am good looking but watching me sleep is creepy," he teases with as mile but keeps his eyes closed. I lay down and laugh.

"You need ot call your mom, she was worried about you all night long," i tell him as he rolls over so he is on top of me, but his weight is on his arms. He opens his eyes and looks down at me with a smile.

"Goodmorning babe," he says kissing me softly on the lips and pulling back. I frown.

"Teasing isn't nice," i say with a pout. He laughs and gets up. As i sit up i sneeze.

"Looks like someone is getting a cold from standing int he rain," he teases. I cross my arms.

"How come you aren't sick?" i say as i slowly get out of bed.

"Because i am bigger and stronger so i don't get sick easy...Then there is you, tiny and little," he says making me hit him. He groans in pain from his already bruised body.

"Oh my, i forgot i'm so sorry, i didn---" he cuts me off with another kiss and pulls away.

"Stop saying sorry all the time, i am fine," he says with a smile. I shake my head in amusement. Then something pulls me out of my happy place, Brooke crying.. Wait why wasn't Allison watching her?

"Did you hear Allison leave this morning?" i asked walking intot he hall toward Brookes room with Justin following. 

"No, i was knocked out Jess," he says as we enter the little girls room. Brooke was in bed crying and Allison was no where in sight. I pick her up and look at her, she must just be hungry. I walk downstairs and set her in her high chair.

"Maybe she left for work?" Justin says trying to get Brooke to stop crying. I shake my head.

"No, i think she would have told me or something, right?" i asked handing brooke some food. She stops crying and eats. I look around and find a note.

'Jessica, I got a last minute call to go on a business trip. Sorry to leave without telling you, and for leaving Brooke in your hands without a heads up.... I should be home in a day or two top... Love you, Allison' 

"Guess she is on a trip... Looks like no school for me because i have a baby to watch," i say throwing the note away. Justin shakes his head.

"No, you need school. My mom won't mind an extra kid running around..Now let's go drop her off before we really are late," he say picking Brooke up and heading toward the doors.

Aftr dropping Brooke off at Justin's house, which Pattie was super happy to see he was alright, she did offer to take care of Brooke for the day so we could go to school. Now i was currently sitting in my thrid hour with Layla listening to our boring math teacher. 

"Oh crap!" i whisper yelled as i face palmed myself. Layla laughed a little and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" she asked in amusement.

"I forgot about that project for English with our partners, i guess with everything happening Justin and i forgot, and it is due next week already," i say slamming my head on the desk, this caught the attention of a few students but they quickly looked away.

"Oh chill, just do it over the weekend and you'll be fine. I mean you two are dating, so you should already know everything about each other," she says making me groan because she was so wrong, we barely know anything about each other yet.

"This is terrible," i say feeling super bad with myself for forgetting a class assignment which never happens to me.

"Hey, it'll be fine boo," she says just as the bell rings. I groan again anf gather my things and we walk out. Justin and Zack were waiting for us at the lunch tables already accourding to the text Layla go. 

"I just have to stop by my locker and drop my books off, you can go ahead if you really want to," i say to her as we walk down the hall. She shrugs.

"Naw, the boys can wait, we haven't been together in forever so i'll come with you. Besides, we both know the boys are talking baout sports, cars, or who knows what," she jokes making me smile. She was probably right, the boys always talk about sports or cars, it's like their main subject at lunch.

We walk to my locker and i put my books away. As i did so i noticed something, Kaylee hasn't been at school the past few days, i wonder why? She is never not at school, she has no absent or tardies in her whole high school career, so this is strange. 

"Hey Layla, have you seen Kaylee around?" i asked her closing my locker door. She shakes her head and has a weird face.

"Now that you mention it, i haven't," she say just as confused as i was. Maybe she has the flu or something, it was going around and all. As we walked i noticed something else, Maddie has been missing too. where was everyone, Maddie, Kaylee, Allison, all gone. Something is fishy here, but maybe it's just me over thinking everything.

"Did you read Kaylee's last facebook post," a girl says to a friend as we walk past a group of girls. One looks to be crying, and the others are all wearing a shocked face. 

"Layla get on facebook a second," i say as Layla already has her phone pulled out. She pulls up Kaylee's facebook page and both of us gasp in shock.
