Chapter 58

My feet slowly stopped swinging and hung there as i carefully watched Josh and two of his friends make their way over. Why can we never have one night that works out. I cross my arms over my chest and glare at him from where i'm seated as they stand in front of me.

"What do you want Josh?" I say with no emotion in my voice. I was so fed up with him and Maddie that it made me want to punch him.

"Now that you mention it babe," He says stepping between my legs and places his hands on either side of me on the table, trapping me there as he was inches from my face.

"I don't have time for your stupid games Josh... Go run back to Maddie," i say trying to push him off but he doesn't even flinch. Crap, this is not good. I feel him set a hand on my thigh and i freeze.

"Do i make you nervous Jess?" He says with a smirk as he inches it higher and higher up. Come on Jess, you can do this. I smirk and lean in so i was close to his ear.

"Not even close," i say backing up looking at his shocked face. He quickly shakes it off and smirks at me as he grips my leg tight and pulls me into him. His grip is to tight to get free of.

"Don't challenge me Jess, it'll be the worst mistake of your life," he says leaning dangerously close to my lips. I don't make any move tho, i was done showing fear.

"Josh!" Justin says walking over with a look saying he was about to beat the crap out of Josh. Josh smiles at me and turns his head only to face Justin.

"Justin, i was just telling Jess here how nice she looked tonight," He says with his hand still set on my thigh. Justin shoves him back and stands in front of me. 

"Justin, don't...Not here, let it go," I whisper to him as i wrap my arms around his waist and pull him back toward me.

"Yeah Justin, listen to your girl," JOsh teases making Justin step forward but i kept my hold on him as he didn't go far.

"Stay away from her, last warning," Justin threatens as i feel his heart beat quicken as Josh steps forward with a smirk.

"What's wrong Bieber....Afraid of losing her?" He says with a smirk as Justin steps forwardready to punch him but i pull on him.

"Justin stop," i say softly as Josh and his friends walk away. I walk around Justin so i was in front of him and he was watching Josh walk away. I grab his face and make him look at me.

"Hey, i'm proud that you didn't fight him.... don't let him get to you," i say hugging him. He sigh.

"He touched you," He says into my hair.

"So what, he just want's a reaction out of you...don't give him one, then you are no better than him," i say as i take his hand and he smiles. "what?" I say confused as we walk toward where we have to meet the others.

"Nothing...It's just, you are amazing," he says pulling me to his side and wrapping an arm around my waist as we walk. I smile and lean into him. We walk around and soon sport the others and walk over.

"Wait, there is one more thing i want to do!" Kaylee says all excited. Kyle laughs and looks down at her.

"And what is that?" he says with a smile. She points to the ferris wheel and we all look.

"We need to go on that, it's so pretty out and all the stars are out. Please, just one time before we head home?" she says with a face that no one can deny. Kyle looks at us all.

"How about it?" he says. We all agree, well not Andrew, Spencer, Rylee, Peter, and Jarod because they have no dates. Layla takes Zach's hand as they get on first. Then Kyle and Kaylee go. I stare at the wheel horrified. I was afraid of heights but no one knew. 

"You okay?" Justin whispered in my ear as we stepped toward the cart. I shook my head.

"I can't do this...I'm scared," i say feeling like a weak little girl again. Justin squeezes my hand and smiles.

"I wouldn't let you fall for the world Jess..." he says as we take a seat without me even noticing and we begin to move. I cling to Justin for dear life and close my eyes tight.

"PLease don't let go," i whisper into his chest.

"Just hold tight Jess, nothing bad will happen when i am with you," he says kissing my head. I slowly open my eyes when the ride stops, thinking it was over but when i looked we were on the very top and i held Justin's arm like my life depended on it. Justin chuckled and looked at me.

"Just look Jess, you can see the sky perfect from here. The sun is almost set, look at the sky," he says looking out over the carnnival to the horizon. I looked, ignoring the height we were at and sigh.

"It's so beautiful," i whisper taking in the site before me. I didn't even notice Justin was looking at me until he spoke.

"Just like you," he whispers moving a strand of hair out of my face and behidn my ear. I look at him with a smile.

"Thank you," i say softly closing my eyes. When i open them he looks confused.

"For what babe?" he says squeezing my hand telling me to explain.

"everything.... I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me, since the day you stopped me on the roof.... I just, i don't think i can ever repay you for that," i say looking back at the sunset with happy tears. I hear him chuckle a little and pull me closer.

"You don't repay me...You being here, with me...That is the best thing in the world that you could possibly give me Jessica....You are my world," he says kissing my head as the ride takes us back down. We meet the others back at the car and head home. Justin and i were in the front since he was driving. He was playing with my fingers with his free hand the whole way home. All i was thinking about was how i got so lucky is to have a boyfriend like Justin, and the amazing friends i have.... five says till Prom, then graduation and we are all free to live... But what is going to happen to everyone once high school is over? That thought has begun playing in my mind, but i don't want to think about the negatives, right here, right now, is what matters to me.
