What Happened to them?

*** Hey you guys, I just took a few hours to read all of your amazing comments... I don't know which one of you guys are all following this series, but I do know you all read this story at least. Seeing it almost to 3 million reads is unbelievable and I could never thank you all enough for all the support. So as a little thank you, I seen a few people wanted me to keep Justin and Jessica's story going, so here is a little bonus chapter for all of you. enjoy***

Five years later.....

          "Mom!" I hear a little voice scream, followed by the sound of littler bare feet running across the hardwood flood of my bedroom. I kept my eyes closed though, acting like I was in a deep sleep. I felt the bed slowly move as the sound of a soft giggle was heard. I felt them crawling closer to my head, but I still stayed still. I felt a little poke on my arm and then another giggle, and I had to hold back a smile. 

          "What are you doing!" I shout as I quickly grab my sweet little boy and pull him into a sweet hug and a ton of little kisses. This was almost an everyday thing with Colton, because he was a total mamas boy. His cute little laugh was music to my eyes every morning, and his smile and bright personality was enough to know it was going to be a great day. Of course his screaming made the two dogs jump up on the bed and join in the fun as well. When he finally calmed down he laid there with me and kissed my nose.

          "Mommy, can we go to the park?" he asked me in his sweet little voice. My babies were turning five tomorrow, and I just couldn't believe how fast time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday him and Cassidy were crawling around in diapers and causing all kinds of troubles.

          "Mommy!" Cassidy shouts as Justin walks in with her on his back. Where Colton was a mamas boy, Cassidy was a daddies girl. Justin would melt at her feet when ever she asked for something, and I couldn't blame him. Cassidy was sure to give us a run for our money when she hits high school, and Colton was going to be a little heart breaker like his daddy was. I smile as Justin sets my baby next to me and she cuddles with me as well. Next thing I know, Justin was laying beside me and pulls me closer to him.

          "She is all mine," he teases the kids. Cassidy just looks at him with an open mouth of shock, while Cole just pulls me back toward him and shakes his head.

          "No!" he says with  a laugh. Cole and Cassidy pull me back to their side of the bed, and Justin pretends to pull hard to get me back, but the kids win of course.

          "Alright, you win," he teases moving closer to us. "Guess whose birthday is tomorrow," he says making the twins all excited and jumping on the bed. Cole jumps and Justin catches him, it was something he loved to do, of course I was convinced it was because he was a little daredevil to begin with.

          A few hours later and Layla was here picking up the twins to go to the park with her and Molly. I told her that I would catch up with them later, I had a few things to bake for tomorrow. Justin had left with Zack to go to work about two hours ago, so it was just myself and the Jade. Lexi was sent with Layla to watch over the kids. I knew there was nothing to worry about, but there was always that feeling in my stomach that there was still a threat out there. Of course, I knew I was just stressing over nothing, we had already gotten through the worst and there was no reason to believe that people were still out for revenge. 

          "Alright, one hundred cup cakes, here we go," I say as I look at all the cooking supplies on the counter. I had to make cup cakes for the birthday party tomorrow, and about a ton of other things to get done as well. 

          I have been cooking for two hours straight and decided to take a quick break. Going upstairs I take a quick relaxing shower and throw on some new cloths. All I had left to do was frosting and clean up the baking mess on the counter. I looked forward to meeting Layla back at her house with the kids, it was always wonderful when she offered to take them for awhile. I love those two to death but this momma needs a break sometimes. Walking back down to the kitchen I stop when I hear a noise.

          "Jade?" I say, but the dog was laying in her bed, not even fazed by the noise at all. I roll my eyes at her, some guard dog she was. I slowly walk around the living room and I don't see anything. I guess it was just me being paranoid again. Brushing it off, I walk back to the kitchen. As soon as I step foot in the kitchen I freeze, not because of what I saw, but because I was hit in the face with a cloud of flour. I stand there with my mouth hung open and my eyes closed as Justin's laughs filled the room.

          "Babe, you look a little pale, are you feeling alright?" he jokes with a laugh. I wipe the flour from my eyes and look at him. He was shirtless of course, because it seems to be a trend for him when the kids aren't around.

          "You're lucky I'm in a good mood. I say as I walk toward him. He gives me a weird look and then pulls my hips so I was against him. He was leaning on the counter, facing away from it of course. He smiles at me and kisses my nose that was covered in flour still.

          "You look good in white," he says making me shake my head. Without him knowing, I had grabbed the thing of frosting and got it ready.

          "Well, aren't you so sweet," I say as I whip it out and squeeze it all over him. Before stopping I rub it all over him. "Literally you are sweet," I laugh as I back away from him as he looks down in disbelief at what I had done.

          "You're dead," he says with a smile while grabbing the other frosting thing. I scream and run around the kitchen with him chasing me. I laugh as frosting was flying all over, followed by more flour, some eggs, and sprinkles. He finally caught me and spun me around as we both laugh. He pulls my back closer to his body and kisses my neck. 

          "I love you so much," he whispers to me. I turn around in his arms, wipe some frosting off his cheek and eat it and smile.

          "I love you more," I whisper making him smile and kiss me. 

          If you would have asked me back in high school how my life would be in the future, I would have just laughed and asked what future you were even talking about. I was just a broken girl named Jessica who tried jumping off a building to end all her pain. But looking at my life now, I am grateful for the boy standing in front of me. Without him stopping me that night, and without him caring so much about me, I could have never imagined a life like this. A life with two beautiful little kids who fill my heart with joy each and every second of the day, friends that will forever be my family, and an amazing man who has changed me in so many ways I never dreamed were possible. Right here, right now... This was my happily ever after......
