Chapter 54

The next morning i woke up to an empty bed, where was Justin? I slowly sat up and yawned, it was already 6:30am and i needed to get ready for school. I quickly did my morning routine and got a shower in, got dressed, did my hair, and even put some make up on. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs where Allison was already in the kitchen eating an apple.

"Morning mom," I say grabbing a banana for myself and sitting next to her. She smiles at me.

"Morning sweetheart, sleep well?" She asked me making me smile thinking about the night before and falling asleep in Justin's arms.

"I did actually, really really good," I say still smiling as i remember that Justin was missing. "Have you seen Justin?" I asked looking at her.

"Yeah, he said that he would pick you up at 7:30 and to be ready," she says with a smile. I shake my head in amusement, leave it to him to be a dork. I look at the time and it says 7:28 and i hear a car horn right after. 

"Well, i'll see you after school, have a good day," i say hugging Allison and walking out the front door. I smiled when i see Justin standing at the passanger door waiting for me. I smile and walk up, he kisses me quick and opens the door.

"Morning my lady," he says in a playful tone. I laugh and get in, he sticks his head in and makes me laugh again. "Where to this fine day?" he says in the voice again.

"To school my good sir," I say in the same tone making him smile. He closes the door and runs to the drivers side and gets in and drives.

"So, i heard what happened at school yesterday," Justin says holding my hand with his free one as he focuses on the road. School yesterday wasn't something i wanted to talk about really, not right now at least.

"Yeah well, i had enough of her crap and i think i finally learned how to stand up for myself," i say making him smile.

"Well, i'm proud of you, i just wish i would have been there to see the look on her face," he says making me smile.

"Yeah well, she won't be bothering me anymore," i say lying to him, because Maddie already warned me the worst was to come.

We pulled up to the school and began walking hand and hand to the front doors.

"Wait up!" Layla shouts walking up hand and hand with Zack with Andrew and the boys trailing behind. Wait, Kyle was holding hands with Kaylee.

"whoa, what is this?" Justin says with a smirk.

"Oh, we are a thing now," Kyle says like it's not a big deal while Kaylee blushes.

"That's adorable," Layla gushes making Kaylee blush even more. I laugh as we all walk into the school only to be greeted by the football team blocking our way.

"Excuse us," Justin says to them but they don't move. Maddie's boyfriend crosses his arm.

"What's wrong BIeber, not into fighting anymore," he says in a challenging tone. Yeah, Justin used to get in fights all the time, but he has changed and is trying not to do those things anymore. I can tell it is making him mad tho due to the fact his hands at in fists at his sides, but i know he is still in a lot of pain from the shots.

"Move Josh," Andrew says from behind me. So Mr. Football stars name is Josh. 

"Shut up Andrew, you got kicked off the team for a reason, maybe you should be friends with such freaks and little who---" he didn't get to finish because Layla stepped up.

"Finish that sentence and my heel will come in contact with your family jewels buddy," Layla snaps, and there goes her angry side, plus it's morning which means she is extra angry when people piss her off.

"Wow, little princess gots some fight in her," Josh says making Zack glare at him as he holds Layla back once again.

"Look Josh, you either move or we will have a problem," Kyle says stepping forward. Kaylee grabs his hand but Kyle keeps his stand. Josh smirks and steps forward as well, this makes Justin step forward.

"What are you two going to do, last i heard you were both in the hospital, so this might hurt," Josh says as he punches Justin in the stomach just above where he got shot. Justin holds his stomach as Josh also tries hitting Kyle but Zack lands a punch to Josh. Soon the whole football team was fighting and our boys were too, i have to admit, Justin is hurt but he is still winning this fight right now. Josh was fighting him, and Justin was at a level of being pissed that his pain was just a tickle right now.

"Get your hands off of me!" Layla shouts as one of the football players shoves her into a locker. Oh heck no, not in this life time. I go over and kick the back of his legs making them buckle so he is on his knees then i slap him hard across the face.

"Never touch my friends," i snap at him helping Layla up. As i do the boy grabs my leg making me fall to the ground, hard. Layla says something but the boy shoves her back and she hits the lockers hard and falls to the ground as well.

"Wanna be all bad and tough," He says pulling me to my feet and slamming my back into the lockers. I am pretty sure i have a concussion now. Before he did anything else Justin grabs him by the shirt and punches him making him fall to the ground knocked out. 

"Jess, look at me," Justin says holding my face in her hands. I struggle to focus on him as everything is spinning.

"Now i suggest you leave," Andrew shots as the last few football players leave. Josh doesn't tho he stands staring at me.

"Jess, come on look at me," Justin says in a more worried tone.

"My head," Layla shouts as Zack helps her up. She holds the back of her head as she blinks a few times.

"Are you okay?" I manage to ask Justin. He looks a little amused.

"Don't worry about me babe.... Now how's your head," he says still holding my face in his hands.

"Ugh....It hurts," I say leaning my head back on the locker. Layla stands up with Zacks help and almost falls.

"Yeah Layla has a concussion for sure," Zack says holding her up. Justin nods and stands up holding his hands out to me. I take it and he pulls me up but i almost fall as well and he catches me.

"Jess does too.....Let's skip and go tot my place," he suggests as he picks me up bridal style and carries me. Zack walks behind us with Layla. Andrew and the boys were going to stay back and expalin to the teachers that will for sure be asking that Josh started all this. As Justin carries me i begin to see dots.

"Justin.." was all i got out before i passed out.
