I have a disclaimer to make, this is 100% based on a real life story. That happened a few months ago with emoducklings. For this storytelling version, you shall be in emoducklings shoes, meanwhile, I will be your pal, and Peter shall be the kid driving.

You were going out and about with your best friend and her family. Her mother wanted the van to be washed, as she just saw the dealership coming up, her father obliged to her mother's request and pulled into the small dealership. Putting the old and slightly run down van in park, her mother unbuckled her seat.

"I've got to use the bathroom. Does anyone else want to come in? There's new video games installed." Your friends younger brothers face lit up with joy. New video games and getting away from the two teenage girls?! Of course he leapt out the van with glee. Her mother and littler brother walked in the dealership.

Leaving you, your best friend, and her father. Without a word her father also got out of the vehicle. The two of you thought nothing of it. That he was just going to sit in the passenger seat while someone drives the van through the carwash. But that was not the case.

Her father unscrewed the antenna for the radio, off of the van, opened the passenger door, and placed it carefully inside the slightly messy van. A younger kid walked around and got into the van. You and your friends eyes filled with horror as her father walked off into the grass, sending you away with a wave and a chuckle as your friend mouthed to him. "Screw you!"

And so, the van descended into what would be the most awkward 3 minutes of your life. The kid with brown hair, rolled down the window, punched in a few numbers, closed the window then parked the car. Within seconds the huge blue spinny things started up. You and your friend look anxiously at one another.

Your face inflamed a deep crimson red; as you were on the brink of crying from embarrassment. Your friend fought back a laugh at how red your face had gotten. You nearly started laughing too, from how ridiculous the entire situation was. You let out a small and hardly audible giggle, before blushing even harder, and pulling the strings on your over sized hoodie closed. So you could hide yourself from the sheer and soul breaking embarrassment that had been brought upon you.

As you hid your face, you heard a bark of laughter escape your best friend. She snorted, trying to force herself to stop. So she let out a heavy and labored breath. The young teenager in the front seat looked into the rearview mirror, completely horrified that he heard a noise.

He was sure he was alone in the van. But it became obvious he wasn't. Quickly his brown eyes dashed forward and very slowly they met the rearview mirror again. Your friend saw how petrified he looked to be trapped in a van, in the middle of a wash, with two teenage girls.

Who wouldn't be? When the one girl who wasn't hiding, was using the folded middle seat as an footstool. Meanwhile the other one, who was much more embarrassed by the whole thing, was hidden away in a black hole of a sweater. Once he looked away your friend fought hard not to laugh or cry at this point.

This was turning into an absolute nightmare.

The young boy pulled the van out of the wash, and pulled it round to where her father had abandoned the two of you. Before he could make a mad dash and try to save his dignity. Your friend, decided she had non left at this point and began to say. "Thank you," he opened the door and got out. But before the door had shut, she shouted. "FOR GETTING OUT OF THE CAR!"

You erupted into a nervous fit of giggles. "Why did you thank him for leaving!?" You questioned. She shrugged not completely sure either. Soon her family was back in the vehicle. You let out a huff as you were both equally annoyed for being abandoned.

"Why did you come in?" Her mother asked curiously, passing back bottles of water.

"BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK DAD WAS GOING TO LEAVE US ALONE WITH A TOTAL STRANGER!" Your friend shouted.

"Well you two had to grow up at some point." Was his response, as he began to pull the van away.

"WELL THAT SURELY HELPED NOW DIDN'T IT!?" Your friend said still loudly. "It was so awkward being trapped in a car with a complete stranger! He didn't even know we were back here until I laughed! Then he looked back, in the mirror, in complete fear, we completely traumatized the guy!"

Her parents let out a laugh. "But was he cute? " Her mother asked, "is that why y/n is blushing so hard?"

"No!" You squeaked up. "We never even saw the guys face!"

Now here shall be some completely made up fiction.

You still couldn't believe after all these years. The two of you were dating. You ended up with the boy at the car wash. Who never failed to tell everyone about how the two of you met. After all these years you couldn't choose whose story you liked better. Your best friend's. Or your boyfriend's.

I hope y'all liked this real life story. I can still see the guys reaction fresh in my mind.
