I want to take a moment and thank all of you for following me on this journey with Athiss and Vaughn. It truly means the world to me. I am humbled beyond belief, from all the love and support that I get from each of you when I post. I know im not updating as much as I want to, or as fast as I used to and Im honestly Sorry for that. Jaxon slowly eyed the man standing feet away from him. He knew that he wanted to tell him that everything would be alright, that everything will slide into place. But he knew that he couldn't offer that kind of support, because no one knew what was going to happen or how it was going to happen.

Only time would be able to tell.

Swiftly stepping forward Jaxon sighed loudly as he eyed his friend once more before he spoke. "Vaughn-" But before he could say another word the man in question was falling to the ground as his whole-body shock. He didn't know what to do, he's never seen his best friend like this. He knew that when they were kids, the man would shake after having to deal with his mother. But he had never been privy to seeing it. Vaughn always said that it made him seem weak, and unlovable.

It's funny in a way how these to broken people had found each other, and promised to love and to hold. And yet now here his best friend was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, because the reality of what he was about to lose was crashing down on him.

A part of Jaxon wanted to call Athiss Ceryian, and tell him that this man needed him, that he was lost without him. But he knew the response he'd get. After all, Athiss was a stubborn man when he wanted to be. And this would be one of the occasions Jaxon was sure of it.

But he also knew that it didn't matter. All that mattered was that Vaughn need Athiss, and Athiss needed Vaughn. No matter how much Athiss or Vaughn wanted to deny this fact. They both indeed needed each other. Kneeling in front of Vaughn, Jaxon went to pull out his phone as he felt Vaughn's fingers curl around his wrist as the man whimpered: "I need him, Jaxon. Only him."

"Please, help me, what am I to do?"

Jaxon sighed slowly as he pulled out his phone and dialed. He knew that this was a long shot, but he needed to try something anything. He didn't want to see Vaughn break, and he didn't want to see Athiss walk away from the only thing that ever made the man happy besides being a doctor, and Cheryl.

They both deserved happiness, in whatever form it may take. He knew that the person he was calling would most likely want to hang up on him, after all he told her that the child she has shouldn't have been born in that way, that she shouldn't have put either man in that situation especially when her own brother was married to the man she loved.

He told her that she just needed to let it go, and have a child another way. But she didn't care. She had her sights set on having Athiss child, and that was that. He knew that although his best friend loved his sister, he now resented her and the child for they had a part of Athiss that he could never actually have.

As the phone rang a few times he heard a snappy voice come across the line. "What do you want Jaxon Ec-", He quickly cut her off. "Don't say that name, you know better than that." As he listened to her take an intake of breath, he wondered if she would hang up, but at that moment her whiny voice once again came across the line. "Why are you calling me? Are you calling to bitch about my daughter again, or is it something else Jax?"
