Chapter Twenty-Five: Fighting for The doctors Affection.

As the class remained seated listening to the professor drone on about something that interested no one. There was one man in the room whose stomach was rumbling, and he was wondering when this forsaken class would end so that he could finally satisfy his nagging hunger. He knew that he got grumpy when he didn't have enough to eat. He did however know that it was his fault, he had made himself late by talking to the man that he wanted and needed. But if you were to ask him, he'd say he didn't care. That it was all worth it. Even if he was ten minutes late for class, and was almost locked out.

If he had been locked out the man in question would have just went home and tried texting and calling the only person that he wanted to talk to. So now he supposed that this was a god send, because he would have seemed needy. And that wasn't the way that he wanted to come across, even if that was indeed the way that he was acting to everyone that wasn't him.

He knew that his friends were most likely sick of him droning on and on about Athiss. But he couldn't help it. He was in L-O-V-E. Just as his stomach rumbled once more than man abruptly stood up as his professor told the class that they were dismissed and that they had to read the next two chapters before the next class.

Sighing loudly, he grabbed his bag and flung it harshly over his shoulder as he made his way from the room. Just as he went to turn the corner his friends met up with him. After a few moments of silence Vaughn turned his head as one of the twins asked him about biology. All he wanted to do was tell them that they should try and do the homework for once, but instead he opted for peacefulness and decided that he should just tell them.

Without wasting a moment, he spoke: "It was harder than anyone would have expected. If you didn't read the chapters there is no way that you'd be able to pass that test. Besides he threw in quite a few tricky questions this time."

As they all started to laugh, Vaughn heard his name being called. But he didn't care all he wanted was food. That was the only thing on his mind. Food was his fuel, his reason for living and breathing.

Just as they turned the corner all their heads snapped to the side as they heard the door up ahead that led to the cafeteria open and slam shut with much more force than was needed on the door. But only one of their eyes were opened it shock, as if he had seen a ghost. But he knew that it couldn't possibly be the case.

After all it must just be his mind, his heart and his wants playing tricks on him.

Especially, after this morning and all the texting that they had done. A part of him felt like he was just hoping and holding out for something that would never happen. After all the man that made up his entire world was twelve hours away. If he could find a way to get there right now, he would. All he wanted was to see and explain things to Athiss face to face. Not over a damn cellphone screen.
