Naruto
We all stood in Mayumi's hospital room. After she passed out, Ren looked like he seen a ghost so whatever happened was really serious. We stayed at the bridge until it was finished but Ren rushed Mayumi back to the village.
"Mayumi!" Sakura exclaimed hugging the girl who was now awake.
"I'm alive?" She questioned.
"OF COURSE YOU ARE ALIVE! WHY WOULDN'T YOU BE?!" I yelled and she smiled a bit.
"The voice in my head was giving that vibe." She slowly frowned.
"What does that mean?" I asked confused and she shook her head.
"I don't know. Anyways, why are you all here?" She sat up.
"To see you." Sasuke said and the two stared at each other for a little longer than they should've. Sasuke turned away blushing. Something mucky is going on between those two!
"Mayumi, how are you feeling?" Kakashi asked and she smiled again.
"I'm doing alright. Wait, we are back in the village?" She asked and Kakashi nodded. Mayumi had a shocked expression on her face.
"I have to get out of here!" She yelled trying to get out of bed but Sasuke stopped her.
"You need to rest."
"It won't matter if-"
At that moment the room door opened and a girl with long black hair walked in.
"You look like you feel much better." The girl smirked and Mayumi frowned.
"HEY! WHO ARE YOU?! IF YOU ARE HERE TO BOTHER MAYUMI, LEAVE!" I yelled pointing at her and she sighed.
"Watch your tone around me, boy." The girl said.
"Naruto, calm down." Kakashi said and I crossed my arms.
"Hi Kakashi Sensei and hello Mayumi. Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?"
"Mayumi, you know her?" I asked and Mayumi settled down on the bed.
"Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke.. Meet my sister, Minako Suzuki." Mayumi said and I stared surprised.
"You have a sister?!" I questioned.
"We are half-sisters." Minako specified.
"Hello.." Sakura said nervously.
Both Sasuke and I stayed silent.
"You must be Sasuke Uchiha. Father tells me many things about your clan." Minako moved over to Sasuke.
"So what?" Sasuke replied making her jump back a bit.
Minako sighed, "Anyways, father is coming Mayumi and he's very disappointed." Minako said and I watched as Mayumi looked down at her hands.
"Oh." Mayumi replied softly.
"Why would her father be disappointed?! Mayumi helped take down our enemy and she's an amazing ninja." I said and Minako laughed a bit.
"Just taking down the enemy isn't enough, for father."
The room door opened again and a man walked in with Ren right behind him.
"Minako.."
"Father!" Minako backed away letting him walk towards Mayumi. We all backed away from Mayumi. Mayumi looked up at her father.
"I'm sorry." Mayumi said and he examined her face.
"She didn't do anything wrong! She doesn't need to apologize!" I yelled.
"Naruto-"
"No! Why do you have to get punished for doing nothing wrong?" I yelled.
"Naruto! This is my family! Please. Let my father speak!" Mayumi looked at me scared. Is this how having a family is like?
"Ren told me what happened. You managed to somehow control your power, but I can tell it's drained you. You don't look like your normal self. What really happened? Tell me the truth." Her father asked.
"I just haven't been feeling well since the mission started. It's probably nothing serious."
"You need more training. You'll train three times a day, now you'll have one meal a day. I'll get rid of your fragile aspect." Her father said and my eyes widened. ONE MEAL A DAY?! I'd die.
"With all due respect, Mr. Suzuki, I'm your daughter's Sensei now. I train her with my other three pupils." Kakashi said.
"Clan leader, Kakashi has a point." Ren tried to bud in.
"There's things about Mayumi that none of you know of. I can only train her truly. Once you are out of this hospital, we will start."
"I know Mayumi better than anyone and her powers better than anyone as I have once possessed it. It's only right I teach her and pass on my strengths. You'll be teaching her the same things over and over again." Ren said and the man got mad.
"Are you questioning my teaching Ren?"
"No, but will you ever truly get rid of that fragile spot she has by repeating your teaching methods?" Ren said and the man sighed.
"Fine. I trust Ren to teach you, but if I don't see change, she's coming back to continue her training with me."
"Understood." Mayumi nodded looking up at her father. He walked out followed by Minako behind him.
"What's his problem?!" I yelled.
"Naruto. This is jut how my family is. Let it be." Mayumi accepted and sighed.
No, you shouldn't be suffering.
