Chapter 72: Meeting Tsunade

It seems that finding Tsunade Senju was more difficult then Jiraiya intended it to be. Toshiko, Jiraiya, Naruto and I went searching while Ren went back to the hotel to relax.

We checked every where. This was almost getting ridiculous. "Maybe she left." I suggested shrugging my shoulders a bit.

Toshiko shook her head. "I know she's here. I can feel her near." Toshiko looked so focused on finding this woman. Why do we need to find her anyways? She seems like she doesn't want to be found.

"Let's take the high ground. Maybe we'll have a better look." Toshiko said jumping up and we all followed.

We watched a man running away from I direction. He looked scared out of his mind.

"What's going on?" Naruto questioned.

"Beats me.." Jiraiya replied.

"Hey Stranger! Hold on just a minute! What happened down there?" Toshiko looked down upon the frightened man.

"You all ought to run too! There are monsters up there!" He screamed.

Sounds like he saw meee...

Don't get excited.

Naruto and I exchanged looks then looked down at the man. "Monsters?"

"What do you mean? What sort of monsters?!" Jiraiya questioned.

"A-A giant serpent! It destroyed the castle in an instant!" The man replied. I think about snake.. and when I think about snakes..

A shiver went down my spine.

Orochimaru.

I looked at Jiraiya. He seemed calm, collected, but pissed at the same time. He knew who it was but it didn't bring him happiness.

I looked at Toshiko. Her hands were trembling. She was squeezing them so tight trying to contain her anger. This had to be Orochimaru.

"How big was it? I've seen one in my village. I was attacked by this humongous snake!" Naruto questioned.

Jiraiya and Toshiko were quick to move in that direction forcing Naruto and I to follow along.

"Thank you." I told the man who looked at me crazy.

"Shouldn't you be running in the opposite direction?!" He looked at me as if I was crazy.

"It doesn't matter but I think you should continue your run." I stated and he didn't hesitate to start screaming and throwing his hands in the air as he ran.

We quickly moved. Toshiko and Jiraiya stopped at a broken wall. When I say broken, I mean BROKEN.

"Looks like we missed the party." Jiraiya looked at Toshiko who furrowed her eyebrows.

"Hmm did the snake do this too?" Naruto questioned as we both kneeled down looking at the destruction much closer.

"I don't know." I replied. This was all too weird and confusing. I could tell that it didn't matter what Naruto and I thought. Toshiko and Jiraiya know everything that has happened without actually being at the scene.

"Why are we at a drinking establishment?" I asked and Naruto nodded with me.

"It's hard being underaged and hanging out with a pervert like you." Naruto frowned crossing his arms as we entered.

"We are going to grab a bite. You two must be hungry." Toshiko stated and I needed food as my stomach was putting on a concert.
