Chapter 77: Don't Forget the Mission

Mayumi

"Do you think this mission will be successful?" I asked Lee as we hopped from tree to tree.

Doubting your comrades I see..

No.  We just sneaked out, and I have this bad feeling. What if someone died?

Someone dying doesn't mean the mission is unsuccessful.

If that's the case, that's how Shikamaru will feel.

"Of course the mission will be successful! Shikamaru is leading them!" Lee smiled. "Have some faith!"

"Don't you think we are going to be punished when we get back?" I asked Lee and he awkwardly laughed.

"Well it's 4 Genin and 1 new Chunin. They'll need the help they could get." Lee stated. "As long as we are aiding to the mission, I don't think it'll matter."

I guess that's true.

Ren

I just learned about more of the dragon's abilities. Takeshi Suzuki made a journal studying the dragons and Masanori was keeping it hidden.

They all have different abilities but one ability that they all contain, that is mad scary is that the physical form of any dragon is a bomb.

The dragons have this Jutsu they know, where they are technically a bomb. Basically can just, commit suicide and kill everyone else with them. They use it when they were being captured, and had no way out.

Toshiko is keeping a dragon in the village.  That's what I'm worried about. I need to talk to Tsunade.

I ran up to her office and she was fast asleep. I walked up to her and poked her, she jumped up and looked at me confused. "Ren?" She questioned and I nodded. "Comeback tomorrow, as you can see... I'm busy.."

I slapped the table, "Lady Tsunade! This is urgent! That white dragon Toshiko is holding, is a potential bomb waiting to go off."

Now she was awake, "Yuki is not a bomb, Ren."

"Yuki is a bomb. The physical form of a dragon. They make the call and are able to do it." I stated. Tsunade studies my face for a bit and sighed in frustration as she could see my facts were solid.

"Toshiko, has held that dragon in this village for years. She has it under control." Tsunade stated.

"No. What if Toshiko provokes her one day. Are we suppose to trust things to be okay?" I asked and she thought of it for a bit.

"Toshiko is my own flesh and blood.. I'll talk to her. I know she cares for this village more than anybody." Tsunade replied. "What about Mayumi?"

"What?" I questioned.

"She has the black dragon within her. What about her?" Tsunade questioned.

"We've never seen that dragons physical form, but I've seen and I'm pretty sure you've seen Toshiko's dragon's physical form. Mayumi becomes a discussion if we see the black dragon's physical form." I stated and Tsunade gave me a devious smirk.

"Very well. That's fair enough." Tsunade replied.

Mayumi

Lee and I were running on a field of grass. Naruto was in danger.

"He's in danger!" I told Lee and he started to quicken his pace see the man versing Naruto about to catch him off guard. "We won't make it in time!"

"Don't doubt my speed, Mayumi." Lee winked as we out ran me. He managed to protect Naruto.

In the distance I saw another figure. "Sasuke.." He ran off.
