I sat awake in my hospital bed. I don't remember how I got here. I don't know why I'm here again. I'm pretty lost.
Sleeping beauty has finally awoken!

I touched my head as for there was a bandage wrapped around it. I ripped it off.
I heal anyways. There was no purpose for it to be there. I slowly got up, my warm feet making contact with the cool floor, and I went to the bathroom connected to my room. Was I out long?
Not really, your father just saved your life. You woke up not too long after it.
I slid in, and looked at myself in the mirror to see a weird squiggly line on my forehead. I looked weird. I guess that's why the bandages were there.
Not only that, I looked like shit.
That mark is keeping the power within these eyes under control. You can't control it yourself. That's what made you pass out.
I passed out? Think Mayumi! Think. THINK!
As I made it back into the room, instead of feeling the cool floor, I felt small grains at my feet. I looked down to see sand.
At that very moment, it hit me.
Gaara.
I needed to talk to him. We had to talk.
You are forgetting how you and Gaara even crossed paths. It's because of a certain duck butted hairdo kid.

I have to talk to him. Knock some sense into him! How dare he try to leave!
I quickly left my room. I had to find Sasuke and Gaara. I walked down the halls of the hospital. I slowly came to a stop and my eyes widened.
Shikamaru was crying.
Does that mean the mission failed? We couldn't bring him back?
Why would Sasuke leave..? After everything that's happened. Team 7. Sakura...Kakashi...Naruto...Me?What the heck is going on?!
I bit my lip and furrowed my eyebrows. I saw Temari sitting down not far from Shikamaru.
"Where the hell was Naruto?" I asked her.
"He's down the hall." She stated and I quickly turned and ran. Anger couldn't even explain how I felt.
I barged into the room to see Sakura sitting bedside. Naruto sat up in the bed all bandaged up. He realized my presence as well as Sakura.
Sakura saw the anger in my eyes and immediately walked up towards me attempting to stop me. "Mayumi sto-"
"So you are telling me, everyone risked their lives to have him run away?" I immediately cut off Sakura and looked Naruto straight in his eyes. "They all were willing to die to bring him back. Not to have him run away!"
