"This is your second time eating Ramen?!" Naruto yelled at me and I nervously nodded.
"I have to take you out more Mayumi!!! You are missing out!" Naruto cheered as he was about to dig into his Ramen.
"Take her out? Like a date?" The man from Ichiraku ramen questioned Naruto who started to blush awkwardly.
"A-A-A DATE?! N-NO OF COURSE NOT!" Naruto stuttered a lot with pink cheeks and a nervous look on his face.
"Why are you making such a face?" I questioned and Naruto started to slowly calm down.
"I don't think I've ever hung out with you like this. This could never be a date. I look at you as if you were my little sister. I want to protect and care for you like an older sibling should." Naruto got all serious. I've never expected to see him like this.
"Like an older sibling should..?" I thought of Minako but in reality, people will take situations differently from each other. Naruto's an orphan in this village with no siblings.. Minako can have the world if she asked.. I slowly smiled.
"Alright Big Brother Naruto. The bill's on you." I stated laughing a bit and Naruto's eyes widened.
"WHAT?!" Naruto yelled and I ran away laughing. I ran for awhile.
"HEY! HEY!" I heard a yell. I bumped into someone, rolled a bit and landed flat on my back beside the person.
"Oh man, that hurt..." Shikamaru sat up rubbing his head.
"Mayumi..." Shikamaru whispered in surprise. "It's been forever. Last time I saw you, you were beat up going to the hospital." He said scratching the back of his head as we both stood up.
"Oh yeah..." I awkwardly laugh. "You made it t the finals I heard. How's training?" I asked.
"Man, its such a drag. My father just keeps getting me up to train and all I wanna do is to sleep and do nothing." Shikamaru yawned.
"Well you are a Shinobi. You will rarely be able to do that." I stated.
"I did not want to be a Shinobi." Shikamaru yawned. "Anyways, where'd you come from?" Shikamaru asked.
"I was suppose to train with my Sensei, but she had a rivalry to settle with Naruto's Sensei. Then Naruto and I went to get Ramen, then I ran away stating he's paying, so he's forced to pay for my dish." I stated and Shikamaru chuckled.
"That sounds completely out of your character." Shikamaru stated.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"You are quiet all the time and you tried not to associate yourself with anyone. Now.. I see someone is feeling completely comfortable with everyone." Shikamaru stated and I blushed a little.
I'm growing. I looked up at the sky and smiled.
