Chapter 56: Vulnerability

"I give up!" I had a poker face as Shikamaru raised his hands in defeat.

Well he did amazinggggg like I said...

SHUT IT!

"The winner of this match, Temari!"

Wow.. This match was better than most people expected. I'm proud of Shikamaru. He's really smart.

Naruto jumped down to yell at Shikamaru.,

Dum da dum da dum... You're nexttt..

I took a deep breath as the sound girl ninja nervously came down.

All eyes were on me.

"Well what are you waiting for, get down here!"

"YOU CAN DO IT MAYUMI!" Naruto and Sakura both yelled.

You can'tttttt..  Don't let your guard down...

I got down..  and walked towards the centre of the arena.

"LET THIS MATCH BEGIN!"

The sound ninja girl looked so out of it.  I think if I hit her hard enough.  She'll collapse..

I ran towards her with complete speed.  I watched as she was about to open her mouth.  I jumped in the air and brought my leg down.  I heard a croak instead of the horrifying sound as I slammed her face into the Earth beneath.

"Is it over already?"  I questioned confused and the jounin in checked.

"The winner of this match, Mayumi!"  The Jounin announced. "That might've been the shortest match ever..." The jounin said as a side comment. 

I watched as the medical ninjas rolled in and got the sound ninja out.

In a swift moment, an arrow scratched my face.  I felt blood seep down.  I turned to see Mika up holding the arrow.

"DO THAT AGAIN AND YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED!"  The Jounin yelled.

"I'm sorry..  I got excited."  Mika jumped down.

Woah!  Your blood is already boiling!

"You stupid little-"

•Woah.. Language!

"Let's begin this already."

"YOU MAY NOW BEGIN!" 

We both quickly jumped back.  Mika pulled her bow and arrow but I was too quick dodging all her attacks.

"Come on!  You could do better than that!"  I scoffed angering her.

"I'll show you better!"  She yelled and she started to weave hand signs.

I was now running on the wall.

Take it in you are running away..

If you put it that way..

"Gold Style!  Pebble Barrage!"  Small gold rocks lifted from the ground and were sent towards Mika.  She realized the situation and created a wall to separate her from the attack.

I made a clone and it quickly ran to her behind the wall kicking her out of her hiding place.

She screamed as she tried to run from the gold pebbles.

Training with Toshiko was really worth it.

"STOP IT!"  Mika cried and I stopped.

Is she going to forfeit?

"Ready to give up already?  We just started."  I stated walking towards her.

She started to laugh.. Then she was laughing a lot...  She dropped to the ground and died of laughter.

"What's so funny?"  I questioned.

"I think it's hilarious that you think you have to upper hand here."  Mika stated.

"What's that suppose to mean?"  I questioned.

"You dream about a woman with the same blonde hair as you, with similar eyes, and you as a little girl holding her hand." 

Why does she know about my weird dreams?

"Your mother never killed her self when you were born Mayumi..  She lived.." Mika smirked.

My mother...

I feel...vulnerability from you...

"She's taught you how to walk, how to talk, how to be a child..  Your mother was surely amazing."  Mika stated.

Mother..

Mayumi...  Your heart...

"Until one faithful night...  Your gold eyes lit that night, and had shed your mother's blood.  You had killed the woman who gave you everything!" 

"Wait what..?  How..  How do you know that?"

"Who else was able to experience it all?" 

Minako...

Mayumi..  You are vulnerable..

"YOU'RE A MONSTER!  A KILLER!  YOU KILLED YOUR OWN MOTHER WITH YOUR TWO OWN HANDS!" 

"SHUT UPPPPP! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"  I roared..

Wait...

The black dragon roared?

I told you to keep your guard up..  Now I'm going to kill!
