I stood at the village gates with Jiraiya, Toshiko, and Naruto.

I'm suppose to be training.

Learning the bow and arrow?  We know you can't miss already.

"LET'S GO!!!"  Naruto cheered trying to drag his heavy bag.  That was bigger than all of us combined.

I looked at my small bag on my back and stared back at his.

"Am I missing something?"  I asked nervously.

"No.  He thinks we are going out for months."  Jiraiya replied to me.

Toshiko brought her lips to my ear.  "Stick close to me, and their stupidity won't rub on you."

The thing is that, I want to be as far as possible from you.

"Okay!  If you say so!"

What are you doing?!

She has something up her sleeve.  You need to stick close to her like glue to figure it out.  Believe it or not, she'll teach you Jutsu you need to know.

If things go sideways, she'll know what I'm capable of.

Not go on this so called adventure.

I just learned that Itachi was after Naruto.

Naruto was with two of the leaf's Yonnin, and to make it even better Mayumi.

White haired man, and a lady with long brown locks.

If Itachi gets to Naruto, Mayumi will definitely jump in and I know that he would kill her.

Watching her stop breathing was so painful. I really thought she was gone. I don't want it to happen for good.

I really do like her.

I have to find them before it's too late!!

"So are we going to sit here doing nothing?"  I asked Naruto who had a pissed off look.

Jiraiya and Toshiko left us in the inn alone.

"We need to be ready for when they come back."  Naruto was so focused.  He really wanted to train while I was afraid to train with this woman.

You better not be or I'll take over.  I'm trying to figure out who Yuki is.

"Hey Naruto.."

"Hm?"

"Do you think Gaara is a good guy?"  I questioned randomly.

No.

"Why does he matter to you?"  Naruto looked at me clueless.  I could see the question marks hovering over his head.

He really is a knucklehead.

"I'm just starting conversation."  I awkwardly laughed.

"Well.." Naruto placed a thinking face.  "He reminds me of myself.  He's had a rough upbringing but I believe if he's willing to see past that and see the people around him.  He'll be saved.  I don't think he's a bad guy.  He's just a good one suffering.  Everyone needs someone there for him." 

"I see..." I nodded seeing the seriousness in his face.

There was a knock on the door.

Naruto got up and frowned groaning in annoyance.

Hey!  Mayumi!  I feel a dark aura.  Whoever's behind that door isn't someone you want to mess with.  Don't let Naruto open it!

I activated my eyes.

I looked past the door.

I've seen that face before.  He looks like Sasuke but older.

My eyes widened...
Itachi Uchiha.

"Naruto!"  I whisper yelled running towards him.  I jumped him pulling him down to the ground covering his mouth.

He muffled angrily at me.

We have to get out of here.  He's not stupid.

The door slowly opened revealing the scary man himself...

My mouth quivered a bit.

"Itachi...Uchiha..."
