Gaara... When I'm around you, I feel weak and vulnerable too. It's not a bad weak.. I feel..I feel happy. That first moment I met you... My heart warmed up. That time in the forest-- I cried because I found someone who'd make me happy in a different way than everyone else!

I called out for you because I was worried about you.

Were you trying to save me from my pit of loneliness even though you were struggling from your own?
What was going on?
"You can stop now Naruto. Sakura's Safe." Uchiha appeared to Naruto's aid. "Gaara's used up all his chakra. The sand around Sakura is gone."
"Oh goody.." Naruto smiled and slowly passed out.
Sasuke gave an aggressive look as Kankuro and Temari came to my aid.
They've always been here for me, haven't they?
"Mayumi's dead." Sasuke growled.
"Well guess what, I found Mika dead. I guess we are on the same level huh?" Temari frowned.
Wait, she's dead.. Mayumi?
No...
But..
This wasn't how it was suppose to end.
"Naruto took down Gaara. Something his siblings couldn't do. You owe him big time." Sasuke replied.
"Why you little-"
"It's all right.. I quit." I stated surprising everyone.
"All right.." Kankuro replied helping me up and taking me away with Temari.
I looked down to see Mika's lifeless body.
Maybe you did show me kindness and love...But maybe it was also the type of person you were that made me hate your affection.
"Temari, Kankuro... I'm so sorry." I spoke.
"Uh, well it's okay, I guess.."

"Gaara...uhh...rest up to the best of your ability... We will be leaving tomorrow." Temari and Kankuro immediately brought me to the hospital.
My body was covered in bandages.
"Thank you." I nodded at them.
The Shukaku is awfully quiet.
"Wait.. Temari, Kankuro?" I stopped them from leaving.
"Yes Gaara?" Temari replied.
"Who killed Mika?" I asked.
"I honestly don't know. I found her and she was dead." Temari answered my question sadly.
"Then who killed Mayumi..?" I asked and Temari went silent.
"You don't remember? You watched her die.."
