"Are you alright?"

I was surprised when someone suddenly touched my shoulder. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag nang matuklasang si Jacksenn yun.

"Huwag ka ngang nanggugulat. Balak mo ba akong patayin sa atake sa puso?!"

"Kung balak kitang patayin, bakit sa puso pa? Bakit hindi na lang sa kama?"

"Wala ka talagang pinagkaiba sa kaibigan mo. Parehas kayong mga malibog."

He smirked at me. "Malibog man kami sa iyong paningin, kami nay nagagawa ka pa rin panginigin."

I stared at him as if he was the most disgusting thing on earth I have ever seen. It was partly half true, half not.

For a fact, Jacksenn is one delectable master too if he happens to be one. Too bad, he's a Knight.

A knight are never allowed to have a damsel-in-distress. Kahit na sino man sa mga knights, wala sa kanila ang may partners. Aside for the safety purposes, the headmaster can't see any need for the knights to have a partner if they could run their respective divisions well. And besides, they might end up distracted if they'll have their partners.

Those infos are classified and we're not allowed to be known by sclavuses but being bestfriends with your master has tons of perks, I must say.

I walked out of the elevator and headed straight to my car which is already at the lobby. Nang mapansin kong nakasunod sa akin si Jacksenn, nilingon ko siya.

"What are you doing?"

"Accompanying my bestfriend's bestfriend?" Kunwaring inosenteng sagot niya sa akin.

"Stop feigning innocence will you? Ang sagwa tignan sa'yo." Hinagis ko sa kanya ang susi ng sasakyan ko. "Since you wanted to accompany me, do the decency to drive my car para naman may silbi ka."

"Inuutusan mo ba ako? Baka nakakalimutan mo kung sino ako?"

Binuksan ko na ang passenger seat ng sasakyan ko. "I know who you are. You're my bestfriend's bestfriend." Nakangising sagot ko sa kanya.

Pumasok na ako sa loob. Nakita ko siyang napailing-iling bago sumunod sa akin at pumasok sa driver's seat.

"Say Jacksenn, wala ka bang napupusuan o nagugustuhan na kahit na sino?" I asked while he's driving towards the store Dan gave me. Apparently, alam niya yung location ng store na hindi ko na kinagulat knowing that these two are best of friends.

"Wala naman. Bakit? Mag-aapply ka ba?"

"Could you please stop daydreaming of disgusting things?"

He laughed. "Kidding aside, bakit mo natanong?"

"Wala lang. Curious lang ako kung bakit mas pinili mong maging knight kaysa sa maging master."

"I didn't chose to be a knight. I was destined to be one."

Kung sa bagay, anak nga lang pala ng mga Dukes ang pwedeng maging knights. If there is one who could choose, it would be Dan. He was offered to be a knight.
