Nanlaki ang mga mata niya pagkatapos kong bitawan ang mga salitang iyon. He looked like he can't believe what I just said to him.

"Shekainah..."

I breathed heavily. "I can be honest now right? I'll only say that once so keep that in your mind."

Kung kanina mukha siyang hindi makapaniwala, ngayon naman mukha siyang nalugi.

"You won't repeat that? I want to hear it again." Angal niya sa akin.

I smiled at him. "Dan, I wondered why you're still doubting my feelings for you?"

Natigilan siya sa tanong ko. "You feel something for me?"

Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mga mata. "Oo. Awa at habag."

"Tsk."

"But kidding aside, hindi ko talaga alam kung saan nanggagaling 'yang takot na nararamdaman mo."

Umiwas siya ng tingin sa akin saka nangalumbaba. Mas lalong lumawak ang pagkakangiti ko dahil kapag gumaganyan siya, alam kong nahihiya na siya. He looked so cute whenever he's shy.

So, this is the charm of a Delabreaux that everyone has been talking about huh?

"Mas malapit ka kay Tanner. I envy your closeness to him. I know its wrong to think this way but it felt like his presence is a threat to my relationship with you. You made me feel that he's a lot more important to you than me."

"Well, if we're talk about the friendship thing, then Gab is indeed a lot closer to me than you."

"I know. Hindi mo na kailangang ipagduldulan pa. Nagagawa mo ngang magsinungaling sa akin para lang makipagkita sa kanya 'di ba?"

Napangiwi ako ng dahil doon. All the while, kapag nakikipagkita ako kay Gab, alam niya pala iyon.

"Alam mo naman pala na si Gab ang kinakatagpo ko noon, bakit hindi mo man lang ako sinita o pinagsabihan man lang?"

"Gab is already a part of your life before I came. What would you feel if I had said that I don't want you near him and that I want you for myself? You'll probably hate me if I did that. I don't want that to happen."

"So, mas pinili mong tiisin yung sakit? Ganun ba yun?"

"Kaya ko naman. I managed to endured it for years. I just lost my cool when you stopped me from winning the race. I thought mas gusto mong manalo si Gab para magkasama na kayong dalawa."

Staring at this shy guy in front of me made me realize that he has been loving me unselfishly since then. I don't know what I did for him to love me this way.

Binitawan ko ang gitarang hawak ko tsaka ko iniyakap ang kamay ko sa braso niya. "You know that I can't do that. I will never leave you. Whether I'm at your side or at your back, I will always be with you wherever you position me in your life."

He turned to me and smiled. "Shekainah, I lo-"

Dinikit ko ang hintuturo ko sa bibig niya. "Don't. I don't want to hear it."
