Andrea and Dale were running towards us and Andrea looked horrified.

"Oh my God is he dead?" She asked, still running.

We were all walking back and she stopped in front of us.

"Unconscious, you just grazed him." Rick said, and she let out a sigh of relief.

"But look at him, I mean, what happened he's wearing ears." Glenn pointed out.

"I don't know why he's wearing that, but I do know he fell, and his arrow went into his side." I said, trying to keep up.

Rick pulled the ears off of him and shoved them in his shirt. "Let's keep that to ourselves."

T-dog stopped and picked something up.

"Guys, isn't this Sophia's?" He held up a doll. Rick looked at the doll and back to Daryl. We all stopped and Rick's face just completely softened.

"We'll figure that out later, lets just get him inside right now." I said, trying to move them along.

Once he was inside, Hershel started to stitch and clean him up and I sat outside with Lori. We stayed quiet for the most part, waiting for Rick to come out.

I get why Andrea thought he was a walker. He was walking like one because he was injured and he had blood and dirt all over him.

Rick came out and we both stood up.

"He'll be okay." Rick said, hugging Lori.

"Hershel's right, we can't keep going out there. Not like this." Shane said. He is such a heartless person.

"You'd quit now? Daryl just risked his life to bring back the first hard evidence we've had." Rick said, turning around.

"That is one way to look at it. The way I see it Daryl almost died today for a doll." Shane replied.

"Yeah I know how you see it." Rick muttered, walking away.

"I don't mean to be a hard case, I'm just being realistic." Shane said. Lori huffed.

"He's just got to stop making the tough calls." He continued. I scoffed and shook my head.

"You know I'm right." I could tell he was talking to Lori, because there is no way I would ever agree with him about something like that. Especially if it's my brother he's talking about. And to call off the search for a little girl? If it were Carl I would never ever stop looking.

Shane started to walk away and Lori followed him, talking lowly.

"I may not agree with all his choices, but I respect him." I heard Lori say. I couldn't hear anything else, because I tuned them out. I'd rather not hear that.

I walked out and found Andrea on the front porch. She looked back.

  "How's he doing?" She asked.

"He'll be fine. What about you?" I asked, sitting next to her.

  "I shot Daryl." She replied.

"Don't be too hard on yourself, we've all wanted to shoot Daryl." She looked up and laughed. I got up and patted her shoulder, making my way to the tents. That were set up near the RV.

Lori came out and went into her tent. There was no one else around and she started to cry. I got up and peaked into her tent.

"Lori? You okay?" I asked lightly.

"Yeah." She breathed out. I went inside the tent and sat next to her, rubbing her back.

She started to sob. "What am I going to do?" She cried.

"Do about what?" I asked. She looked up, almost scared. She sighed, looking down.

"I'm pregnant." She whispered. More tears fell from her eyes and I gasped.

"Please, please don't tell anyone." She pleaded. "Not even Rick." She said in a hushed voice.

"You didn't tell him?!" I whispered. She shook her head no and got up, leaving me speechless.

I processed what just happened and went outside again.

Maggie walked up and told me that dinner was ready. I looked at the sky and realized that it was sunset already.

We were all sitting around two tables eating dinner, four people at one and the rest at another. Minus Daryl and Carl.

Glenn, Maggie, Jimmy and Beth were at the small table.

We were all eating in silence when Glenn turned around, breaking the silence.

"Does anyone know how to play guitar?" He asked, trying to lighten the mood. Everyone stayed quiet.

"Dale found a cool one. I figured someone has to know."

  "Otis did." Patricia said.

"Yes. And he was very good too." Hershel chimed in. The tables were silent again.

Carol got up with a plate of food and started to walk down the hall. She came back a few minutes later, looking pretty satisfied.

I got done with my plate and got up, stacking it in the sink.

I started to walk over to Daryl's room to check on him.

I opened the door and he was facing the other way. He looked in my direction and covered up his body. He looked a bit awkward.

I looked at the bedstand and noticed that he hadn't eaten the food that Carol brought for him.

"Why don't you eat?" I asked, sitting down.

" 'M not hungry." He replied.

"How are you not hungry?" I asked. He shrugged, not bothering to look my way.

"How's your head?" I looked at the gauze wrapped around his head.

"It's fine." He replied. I sighed. He obviously isn't going to talk to me.

I got up and started to walk out.

"Thankyou." He stopped me before I got to the door.

"For what?" I asked. He turned to look at me.

"For helping me when I was down there." He said, making eye contact for a second.

I sat on the side of the bed, unsure of what I was doing.

"You're welcome." I replied, "you've done a lot for that girl. I'm sure Carol is very thankful." I said.

He pulled the sheet up, covering himself more again. "Careful, I got stitches." He said, awkwardly. I let out a breath and got up, walking back to the door and glancing at him once more before leaving. I closed the door behind me and walked out of the house, smiling to myself.
