What I Really Want To Say

You have a brother?

-Travis' POV-

At eleven on the dot, Danny and i pulled up to Megan's house. I left Elvis and Danny in the car and snuck around the back. I didn't even bother throwing a rock at her window, i just climbed in.

She was asleep on her bed and Austin was playing with her laptop. He turned around to face me.

"Ya know shes head over heels in love with you."

"I know." I replied smiling.

"But seriously you've only gotten to first base?"

"Wait. What?"

"You know exactly what i mean." We both looked over at Megan who slightly stirred. "How long are you going to wait?"

"As long as she wants to i guess. I love her enough to wait Austin."

"Good answer." Megan stirred again and finally woke up.

"Ready to go?" She asked. We nodded our heads and she grabbed a duffel bag. Austin grabbed Daisy and put her in his jacket so she didn't get hurt. Danny was in the backseat of my truck rocking out to some song with Elvis. Austin got in the backseat with him and Megan climbed in the passenger seat next to me. 

Megan was playing with her hands. Obviously thinking about something. Danny and Austin were striking up a huge convo in the backseat but i really didn't listen in. "You okay baby?" I glanced over at Megan.

"Oh. Yeah." She smiled and leaned closer to me.

"Needa talk about anything?"

"Later." 

"Okay." Using the new found confidence i found recently, i reached over and held her hand. Thats right. I only needed one hand to drive. Bad Ass. Megan made me feel safe. Like if i was with her, i knew i'd be okay. We arrived at the beach fast, and Megan pulled a few blankets out of her duffelbag and threw then down on the sand. Danny and Austin were throwing a football around and Megan was laying on a blanket staring at the stars. I decided to lay next to her. She looked up and smiled. I held her hand in mine and we looked up at the stars. 

"What were you thinking about earlier?"

"Oh, just something Austin told me. I'll tell you when we're alone, i promise."

"I believe you, babe." I leaned over and kissed her on the forehead. She blushed and grabbed my face for another kiss.

"Are they always like that?" Austin asked Danny still throwing back and forth the old beaten football.

"Not usually. I dunno whats gotten into them lately. They're like rabbits."

"Whats that supposed to mean?" Megan glared at Danny, wanting a response.

"You two just never leave each others sight. You're always all over each other i guess." 

"Dammit Danny. Why don't you just tell us when it gets annoying?" I whined.

"Cause it's not annoying. I know you guys only have a couple weeks left and then we're on tour again. You're making the most of it. And i know damn well that if i had a girlfriend i'd be doing the same thing." He shrugged and went back to throwing the football to Austin. Both the dogs were asleep on the blanket Megan and I were sharing. 

"Thanks Danny." I whispered while smiling.

"Are we gonna do something exciting or not?" Austin looked over at Megan.

"Well what do you want to do? Nothing is really open this late. And its literally a half an hour until Christmas."

"Lets go streaking! Or skinny dipping!"

"One, no. And two, you're not even legal! So no! I'm not gonna go streaking with my cousin. Pick something else."

"I don't know what there is to do here!" Austin whined and looked over at the me for help.

"Lets go to the Christmas Countdown party. Hunters probably there, and its still kickin for a few more hours. Its live pop punk music, and i think Jack and Alex were gonna hit it up." Danny looked for Megan's signal of approval.

"I'm always down to party with All Time Low. Is there an age limit?"

"Not that I know of."

"Austin and I have to be back by at least one. My parents always get up around two on Christmas, so we have about an hour and a half left. Lets go!" Austin smiled and looked over at Megan again. This would be his first houseparty. And i could tell he was stoked.

We all gathered in the car and I drove off to the house the party was at. I got directions from Hunter, who was probably already wasted. I'll probably end up driving him home too. 

We got to the house fairly quick, and Hunter was the first to greet us. 

"Heyyy!!" He shouted over at us.

"Sup Hunt?" I yelled to him and he finally walked over.

"Hundo!" Megan embraced him in a hug.

"This party is kicking!!" He slurred. "Jack and Alex are here somewhere, Rian brought Cassadee and Zack is lame cause hes at home! And a lot of other people are here and i don't know what im saying." He smiled.

"Bro, slow down on the beer, you don't want a hangover on Christmas."  Danny warned.

We all went inside and found out it wasn't really a concert party, it was just a drinking party. Thats probably why Hunter was there.

"I swear to God if i catch you with a drop of alcohol tonight, i will kill you with my own hands. I cannot bring you back home wasted, especially after we snuck out. Got it?" Megan looked Austin in the eye, and i swear, i hope i never have to face her yelling at me.

"Okay mom, Jesus." He rolled his eyes.

"Just making sure." 

Megan and i spent the next half an hour dancing and catching up with some friends. Austin was talking to Cassadee and the only thing i heard him say was, 'Ya know, if the whole Rian thing doesn't work out, you always have me babe.' I wanted to go and save him before he ruined it for himself, but Cassadee laughed and replied, 'I'll keep that in mind haha.'

Megan ran over to me and pulled on my arm. "Travis we have to go."

"Whats wrong babe?"

"My brother just texted me. I know i'm 18, but if i'm not home when he gets there, which should be soon, he'll kill me. And Austin. And you. He's almost 25. His younger emerging in fame sister is one of his biggest priorities. And he'll watch over me more than my dad will. Find Austin and Danny so we can get out of here!"

"Wait. You have a brother? I thought you were an only child?" 

"Well, he hasn't been around me much. I only see him once or twice a year, but c'mon we need to leave now! I'll explain in the car!" 

"Okay babe, get Austin, i'll find Danny. Meet me at the car." She nodded and was on her way.

I ran throughout the house and finally found Danny in the backroom talking to some random chick. After convincing him to come with me, he was a little drunk as well, we ran off to my car and quickly climbed in. Megan was in anxiety mode and rocking back and forth in her seat. Even Austin was a little paranoid. Now i was getting nervous to meet him tomorrow. 

After we got to Megan's house, Austin quickly grabbed Daisy and climbed up to the second story to her room. Megan gave me a quick kiss and climbed up after him. Danny was passed out in the backseat along with Elvis. 

The ride home for me was quiet. I decided to turn on the radio and quietly sang along. I had to slap Danny to get him up, cause i sure as hell wasn't carrying his ass inside. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and checked it. One new message.

Megan<3: Made it just in time. We walked out of my room as he opened the door. Thanks babe.

Travis: No prob babe. Love you.

Megan<3: Merry Christmas.(: Love you too.
