"Ms. Jennings! Ms. Pope! Nice to see you two ladies again! How's everything going in the industry?" Ms. Mathers was usually a crabby woman from what i remembered, but i guess 6 months can change a girl. I mean, who would've thought that the quiet like ginger chick in class would be a pop star? Cassadee talked to her for a bit and they both looked at me at the same time. Dammit i really need to stop daydreaming.
"Megan you remember your normal seat right?" What should i say? Yes and i have to sit by Drew? Or no and hope that she gives me a new seat?
"Uh, I-I dunno."
People started to walk in and some waved over our way. I saw Drew sit down at his- i mean our table.
"You sit next to Drew. You remember him right?" I slowly nodded and looked over at Cassadee for help. She frowned and i slowly walked to my seat. I was shaking more and more with every step. There were three seats at the table we sat at and Drew was already sitting at the far right one. I took a quick breath and slowly sat down at the one farthest left. I stared straight ahead but i saw Drew sneak a peak at me from the corner of my eye.
He opened his mouth to speak and i started to shake even more.
"I hope you guys don't mind if i sit between you, eh?" Cassadee plopped down in the middle of us. My lifesaver.
"Ms. Pope, you sit in the back." Ms. Mathers looked over at us.
"Sorry, forgot to put my contacts in this morning. I can't really see much."
"I'll excuse it this once." She turned back to the board and continued writing. Cassadee and i bumped fists under the table signaling triumph.
The hour had passed so slowly. Every few seconds i felt myself glance over at Drew to make sure this was still a reality. I hadn't seen him since a few months back when he was shitfaced drunk and told me that he cheated on me. Some part of me was still scared of him, and another was furious.
The minute the bell rang Cassadee and I ran out of class. The rest of the day passed fairy quickly. I ate lunch with all my old friends, and they surprised me that all of them had already bought tickets to the hometown show of my tour. I almost cried. Almost.
The final bell had rang and my school day was over. I had my big douche sunglasses on and Cass and i walked out to the parking lot. I was wondering what was taking Travis so long, and Cassadee was wondering the same thing about Rian. I put all the bad thoughts aside and decided to call him.
To my surprise he didn't answer.
"Rian's here. Is Travis coming?"
"He didn't answer."
"We gotta head straight to the airport to pickup Jack and Alex or else i would give you a ride. Sorry Megs.."
"Cass its fine. Worst case scenario i can wait until three when Savannah leaves."
"Okay. See you in a few days! Get your tour face on!" I waved to Rian and Cass and watched them leave.
I called Travis again and again he didn't answer. My anger was building with every minute.
"Why can't he just pick up the phone!"
"Megan you okay?" TC walked up and saw me.
"Oh. Hi, TC. No, not really. Travis isn't answering and he's my ride."
"I can give you a ride if you need one!"
"I think i'll take you up on that offer."
"Sweet!! Lets go!"
