What I Really Want To Say

New Band?

The zoo was fun i guess. Addison had a blast and thats all that counts. I didn't talk much really. After taking care of Addison i learned that i'm never having kids until im thirty. We were on our way home when Deb called. Addi was fast asleep again.

"Hello?" I whispered.

"Why are you whispering?" 

"Addi's asleep. Whats up Deb?"

"Come here really quick! I need to introduce you to some people!"

"Um okay? But i can't be long, i need to go see Maddi in the hospital."

"I'll make it short and sweet buttercup."

"Thanks Deb, you're the greatest."

"Awww shucks. You know i love it when you say that!" 

"And thats exactly why i say it!" I smiled. "See you in like ten minutes." 

I hung up the phone and fell back asleep. Travis nudged at my arm waking me up. He sat in the backseat with me this time so i could fall asleep on him and not Alli. She's so skinny i can barely use her as a pillow.

Addi opened her eyes slowly and made grabby hands. She wanted to get out. I carefully pulled her out of her carseat and sat her on my hip. Travis grabbed me by my other hip and we walked inside. Alli was asleep so Charles waited in the car with her. Deb was standing by my usual meeting room with a huge smile on her face.

"Hey gang! Hello Addison! How are you cutie?"

Addison laughed and blushed. 

"Who are these people you want me to meet?" I asked.

Deb walked over to the door and swung it open. "Your new band members."

"You didn't!!"

"Yes i did!"

"I love you so much Deb its crazy!"

"Now instead of playing with random people you won't remember the next day, or playing with the track and no voice, you can play live with your band! You'll still be Megan Jennings, but they'll be YOUR band. Check 'em out and tell me what you think. I don't want to stick you with a bunch of people that you don't like."

Deb led her way into the meeting room and sat down. I sat down in my chair, which Travis had taken to writing 'Megan's Chair!' with a crown over the M and sticking it on the back. Addi climbed up and sat on my lap playing with my long hair. Travis sat in the chair next to me holding my hand like always. 

I stared down to the other end of the table to see three people staring at me like i was royalty. I saw a very muscular man who i presumed to be the drummer, a thin punk like man who had great taste in clothing, and a girl who had very short hair with way too much eyeliner on. 

"Megan, this is Sebastian." She pointed to the muscular man. "He's your drummer."

"Nice to meet you!" I responded.

"This is Ryan, the bassist." She pointed to the punk kid with style. "And last but not least this is Audrey. Shes the lead guitarist." 

"Its nice to meet all of you! T-"

"Im Addi!" Addison inturrupted. I noticed that Sebastian smiled. I think i'll like him.

"Well this is Addison, my cousin. Who introduced herself already. Haha. This is Travis, my boyfriend, he's the lead singer and guitarist of We The Kings. They're another band on this label."

"Who else is on this label?" Sebastian asked.

"Well," Deb started. "Theres The Summer Set, All Time Low, Hey Monday, Mayday Parade, and Varsity Fanclub."
