"Um..Your TC right?" I asked.
"Yeah! I am." He smiled. I couldn't help but stare at his smile. "So, is that your first song?" He asked.
"Yep." I smiled.
"Sweet! Were working on ours right now too. Its almost done."
"Can i hear it?"
"Um." He paused.
"I'll stand outside the door."
"Okay."
We walked over to the other door and TC went inside. I heard them talk and then a song, which was probably their new song, started to play.
"Couple of years and im gonna know your name. Its like i waited for you forever and i know this might sound insane. But it wont be long, till we gonna take this up. Girl im talking about your future love." I heard Drew's beautiful voice. I wanted to cry but i knew i couldnt. There were no tears left. The song was so wonderful. I walked back into the other room.
"So? How'd it go?" Deb asked.
"The song was angelic. It almost made me cry." Deb hugged me again.
"Go home kid. Your done for the day. Remember tomorrow you have to be here by eight for your photoshoot."
"Okay. See ya Deb. And thanks, for everything."
"Your welcome Megan."
I walked out the door. I heard another door close seconds after i looked up. I saw Drew. He was looking straight at me. I didnt break eye contact. Neither did he. He started to walk over to me. I ran over to him. He hugged me as if he would never let go. I looked up at him as he crushed his lips unto mine. Why the hell did i agree to dump him in the first place?
"Megan..." Drew started to say.
"I love you." I blurted out.
"I love you too."
"Your song is breathtaking, Drew."
"Really? Thanks Megs." He grinned. "Can I hear yours?"
"Yes. Its about you." We walked back to my studio hand in hand. "Deb?"
"Yea?" Her mouth dropped open. "Megan! Jeff will fire both of you!"
"Deb? You seem like a nice person." Drew said. "But I dont give two shits if Jeff fires me." My mouth dropped wide open. Ive NEVER heard Drew cuss. EVER.
"Drew?"
"I love this girl. I have since seventh grade. I dont care if he fires me. I can sing somewhere else. Shes the most beautiful thing in the world. I have to remind myself to breathe when she walks by. If she died, there would be no reason for me to exist. I love her. Shes the best thing thats ever been mine."
At that exact moment Jeff walked in the door.
