"Chris, say hi."
He looked at my cam, and waved.
"Nagba-vlog ka, Ma'am?"
I nodded at him. He smiled and faced the cam once more.
"Hi! I'm so honored to be featured by the ever beautiful Sandy Mayapa."
"Bolero. Hahaha."
"I'm Chris, by the way. Ladies! Follow me on twitter. I'll hunt you down and let you taste a bit of heaven."
He even winked after he said those lines. Pigil na pigil naman akong tumawa dahil sa narinig ko.
"Eww, Chris! Hahaha. I'll cut that part out."
He laughed as well. Jeff noticed him and joined us.
"Hello! We're on day 1 of our Batangas trip. At the CEO's place, y'all!"
The three of us laughed silently. Yes, everyone's been whispering because the interview is already going on.
Nagvivideo ako for my vlog at nag-iikot ako to capture everyone. Natuwa naman ako nang malamang game na game tong dalawang to sa ganito.
Tsaka ko lang naalala na sa food and travel nga pala sila. I think they have uploaded their own vlogs as well.
Nag-ikot ulit ako at sina Nica naman ang nilapitan. Kasama niya si Yana na nagnonotes habang pinapanood ang kambal magtrabaho.
"Hey, girls. Say hi."
Napatingin sila sa akin. In a soft voice, they spoke to the cam.
"Hi! You guys are lucky to get a peek of this. Aster Mag at work! Stay tuned for more beautiful ladies like me, Yana."
"Hello, I'm Nica! Keep watching, our boss is so handsome."
Natawa ako sa kanilang dalawa. They can really be fun with. Despite the stress of work and all the deadlines, nagagawa pa rin nilang mahandle ng maayos ung sitwasyon and I admire them all for that.
Sunod ko namang nilapitan si Tiya Luz.
"Hi, Tiya Luz."
She waved at the cam. Inikot ko ung hawak kong cam at iniharap ung screen sa amin. Inakbayan ko si Tiya Luz gamit ang kabilang kamay ko tsaka itinutok ang lens paharap sa amin.
"She cooked lunch for us earlier. And I'm so happy because I've eaten her famous kare-kare na sobrang namiss ko. This lady right here is the best."
Siniko ako ni Tiya Luz, but I can see her smile.
"Ikaw talaga, puro ka biro."
"Ay, di po ako nagbibiro, Tiya Luz. Your kare-kare is the best!"
Napailing nalang siya sa akin, pero nakikita ko namang nakangiti siya.
Hinarap ko ulit ung camera ko sa akin.
"By the way, I don't know what kare-kare is in English, but it's a delicious Filipino food."
Naglalakad ako palapit kay Dom at Gretch na nag-aadjust ng lightings nang biglang tumabi sa akin si Jeff.
He waved at the camera again, kaya inadjust ko ang hawak ko sa cam para makita kami pareho. Sinabayan niya akong maglakad, habang nagpapatuloy ung record ng video ko.
"Jeff, sabi ni Chris, food expert ka raw. What's kare-kare in English?"
"Hahaha. I don't know. When they call me food expert, they mean expert in eating."
Napahagikhik kaming dalawa. Grabe. Hahaha.
"Anyway, there's a lot of varieties for this recipe. Right, Jeff?"
