When I finally wake up, I'm on a couch in the Bunker.
I have officially decided its a bunker apparently... when did that happen?
I sigh, pulling the blankets closer, and turning onto my side. As I look around, I hear voices outside.
"John! There you are! Where is she? What happened?" Caras voice says. "I was just hanging out with her, talking, et cetera, and then... she seemed... out of it. Unaware. She started speaking, shaking, her eyes glowed... oh my gosh Cara! What's happening?" John sounds... broken. I've never heard him like this before. "What did she say?" she asks, gently. "I dont know... random stuff, like someones thoughts all jumbling and mixing." he replies. "And then?" she urges. "She fainted. As far as I know shes still out of it. It's been about 7 hours." he replies.
I try to stand, wanting to get to my brother, reassure him that I'm fine. But as soon as I get up, a huge headache appears, making me fall instantly.
They rush in, having heard my crash. "Lyric! Are you ok?" I roll my eyes. "I'm fine, John." I huff. Cara turns, giving him a look. "Go get her some water, John." I hear the implecation that she wants to be alone with me.
Weighing his options, John quickly retreats, and I'm left alone with Cara.
I havent really talked to her much. I guess maybe I never really had to.
She sits me back down on the couch, wrapping the blanket around me again. "So explain what happened." she says softly. "I'm not a child you dont have to do that." I huff. "Do what?" she questions. "Talk to me like that... you know, how you talk to Steven and stuff." I say. "Thats cause Steven is a child." She says, amused.
"Um... well... ok. So we were talking, I can't really remember what about... and then I just... I dunno. It was like... everything was muffled. I could feel my mouth moving, like I was talking but I couldn't hear it. I heard Johns muffled voice yelling my name... and my mind felt like I was drifting, like I was floating, but at the same time it was going crazy. Thoughts and voices I'd never heard before..." I sigh. "Cara. What's wrong with me?"
She looks taken aback. Surprised, scared, awestruck even. I can tell instantly that she knows what it is.
"Cara..?" I say. She glances at me. Suddenly, she gets up and runs across the room, grabbing a book and sifting through the pages.
She hits the page she was looking for, and gasps. "Thats it... I thought you were crazy but... its real... wow... oh my gosh..." shes muttering.
"Cara! What is it?" Adrenaline is pumping through my vains, and I feel like I'm gonna throw up.
"I thought it was a myth... that he was crazy..." Shes looking at me now.
"Cara?" I'm basically in tears now.
She seems to snap out of it. "Lyric... wow... your so... strong... You had a Telepathic Spasm."
