A mansion!?

OK.... I know I shouldn't complain, but I just have to.

I'm not girly. Never have been never will be. I'm honestly getting tired of glitzy.

He leads me upstairs and lets me have a shower, gets me a change of clothes from his sisters room and leaves, giving me some privacy.

I finish the shower quickly, and walk downstairs, making my way to where I assume the livingroom is.

I'm only guessing cause I hear the sounds of COD.

I walk in to find Dan sitting there, a friend beside him, playing COD.

Typical guys.

They pause the game when I come in. "Hey Lyric. This is my friend Simon. Don't worry... he's one of us." He says.

Hi. Simon says in my mind.

Hey.

"So... you guys must've kidnapped me for something else... do you want me to teach you some stuff?" I ask. They both nod eagerly.

We spend hours training, and we're taking another break when it happens.

Ears ringing, head spinning, I drop my glass, it shatters on the floor. I grasp my head and stumble. Dan grabs me. "Woah. You ok?" he asks.

Steven! Cara! John! Someone! Help?

I shout at them telepathically.

Lyric? What's happening? Are you ok? Caras response comes.

Telepathic Spasm. I reply.

Its ok Lyric. Stay calm. Stevens going to teleport us. she replies.

He can't teleport halfway across the world! I shout.

Yes he can.

How?! I reply.

"Because I'm a Synergist." Steven teleports into view, John and Cara alongside him.

I feel his arms engulfing me and then it all goes black.

I wake up in a bed, and slowly open my eyes, adjusting to the light.

John is talking with dan about something... sounds like video games or something...

Steven is pacing.

Cara is sitting, reading a book.

I groan. They all snap to attention. "You're up!" Steven rushes over to me. "How do you feel?" he asks. "Blah." I respond, shrugging. I slowly sit up, and take the water John offers me.

I drink it with ease and when I'm done, I'm thirstier than i was before i drank it.

"So.... since when are you a Synergist?" I eye Steven. "My mom is a Tomorrow person." he shrugs.

"Actually, a lot happened when you were away." John states. "It's only been, like, a week." I say. "Yes... but things happened fast." Cara says.

"Explain." I state.

"Well, Stevens a Synergist but you already knew that, we found another Synergist who happens to be the founders daughter, and she died after we tried to save her the 2nd time, and Stevens dad is an icicle." John says quickly.

"Oh and now The Founder has kicked Jed out and is running ULTRA." Steven points out.

"Wait... so... the founders daughter was a synergist but now shes dead... and... now hes running ULTRA? Well crap." I say. "First day of full-fledged Founder ULTRA is tomorrow." Steven nods.

"And your dad is a popsicle?" I ask, confused. "Jed kept his body. We could actually bring him back." Steven says hopefully.

So much change.

My head is spinning.

And thats not just because I just woke up after yet another Telepathic Spasm.
